Would love to see a lure made from alumifoam. There isn’t even one video on you tube using a mixed foam cast mold fishing lure . 👍😄👍

That's an awesome idea! We may have to give it a try!

Very cool, thanks! Do the 320 and 620 have pound per square foot strength info, or something along those lines? (As in weight the cured substance could potentially withstand before crushing?) Thanks.

Since Alumilite has stop selling 610 foam. Is there a good replacement?

Im casting a lure that has a fair amount of scale details and cant for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the "surface" bubbles/holes. Ive tried quite a few different methods with no success. The alumifoam works great for giving the lure the buoyancy it needs but the finish after I use an epoxy clear coat is horrible due to the amount of bubbles that rise to the surface. Also just saying in advance a heatgun/torch does not work and neither does dipping in polyurethane. Any advice to fill the holes on the surface?

Have you ever tried a vacuum chamber?
@TreysArt

@@TheBoogeyMan__ vacuum chamber wouldn’t work for alumifoam because it’s made to expand and form bubbles. The problem I had with it was just the surface finish being covered in holes.

I bought some of this to make a floating mouse bait, and it worked great I thought, only to find out after fishing the bait for about 20 minutes It sank, as it was full of water!!!!!!!! This is an open cell foam and that makes it USELESS for making lures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed in this product.
