Screw coil pack covers- best to keep good access for swapping mid way through a hot lap of the ring 😂

Bryn, you change your coil packs mid way through a hot lap? It would be an even hotter hot lap if your coil packs could make it all the way to the end! 😂😂

I have two of the dimples sets, one for my 225 Flieder Blau has the TT in Flieder Blau instead of red. The other set for my 180 FWD Ugly Duckling has the word Quattro deleted because it’s not true. You message what you want and they’ll do it. Cannot recommend highly enough. Also have the billet inlet cover on the 225. Incidentally for the dress bolts you mentioned, as you know the battery cover will still lift but if you need to change a fuse then yes you do need to undo the bolts. I carry an electric screwdriver with relevant attachments so it takes no time at all to undo plus you don’t have the chewed up problem which can take longer to sort anyway.

That’s good to know, always nice to get custom parts made! It’s always when you don’t have a tool to hand or your out in the car so unless you carry tools with you it’s a pain haha. But as long as people know that then I can’t be blamed 😅

Nice, I had the full polished kit including vin plate on my last TT, for this one I replaced the coolant, oil and washer caps with black oem Audi/VW ones, and then got black 3d printed strut caps, the 3.2 engine bay looks quite neat as it is so wanted to keep oem but get rid of all the blue and crap caps really

I like a business only engine bay with black OEM and polished or painted manifolds and covers. Same goes for the rest of the car; no lowering or body kits or other detritus. The original design was pure and perfect, why go and muck it up with a lot of boy racer bling.

Hi Dom, I’ve gone back to n.o.s. water and oil after servicing the car, you can heat your home with the residual heat from them😂 Anyone using them, that oil one gets crazy hot, use a rag, be warned 🥵

Yeah that has to be the one downside of having metal heat inducting caps hahaha I have been warned 😅
