This video explains how to measure a 12.25" Float or Super-Single Aluminum Wheel. Information provided in this video will help determine which wheel you are looking for or the wheel you need.
I've ran Oshkosh mixers before. And some super singles on semi's I don't like the looks of some super singles. On the drives. They give the appearance of making the trailer top-heavy. So I would love to run 455s all around and the outside shoulder to shoulder measurement. Be a true 8ft. Steer axle style like an Oshkosh on all axles. With an All position tread. So I could have one mounted spare fix it and roll.
I’ve herd a alcoa products.I have a dvd of one step beyond from the 1950 and a commercial about alcoa.Thay make aluminum patio furniture and awnings for your home.anything out of aluminum.
I have a genuine question. I picked up a set of 22.5x14 and actually want to mill them down to 22. First of all is that safe ? And second I want the deepest lip possible. Almost like the one in the middle that is almost 9-10 inch of lip. Can I just flip them and use the other side ? Like that first one steer wheel. Can I flip that over to have almost the whole wheel lip ? I really like how they look. I’m also getting the 10 lug adapter. Turns out 3 of those wheels were Alcoa one was accuride. So I’m actually looking to get 2 new wheels from you guys. The other Alcoa had about 6 inches lip on both sides. And the other 2 had those 9-10 inches. My fault for not checking them out. But then again paid $100 for all 4. I appreciate it man !
