Good idea. I too bought the floor mat and definitely helps stop the wind drafts. I may do a follow up video, as I found some deck clips that can help hold the tent (easier than the guy lines)
@@mirja786 awesome ill video mine in Michigan here on Lake st clair tuesday or wednesday. A black floor material would be ideal. My palm trees are covered in fabric and black garbage bags, they can be 70 on a 35 degree day.
Your review is very informative and useful. Are you going to do a part 2 to show what the flooring looks like? And do you think it would be possible to use a portable air conditioner unit in the summer, since it gets warm inside?
Hi - yes I wanted to do a part 2 but the weather became warm and now I am too lazy 😀 I think you could use a portable Ac, but note it gets really warm due to the greenhouse effect. In the winter I add a small heater and having the floor covering seals the air drafts
Candidly I havent used it that much this last season. One thing to keep in mind is leaving it in wind, will cause tears (that can be repaired by Dinosaur tape). So keep that in mind. Also, I discovered some underneath deck hooks for holding it in place. So short answer holding up, but I havent used it much recently.
