The MG75ce is our first Cedar/Rosewood all-solid Grand Auditorium, perfect for those players who love cedar’s warm response to a gentler attack. However, this guitar also responds wonderfully to strumming styles and as a Grand Auditorium, its voice is clear and balanced, handling the projection in an articulate fashion with excellent separation. I've got an Alvarez Regent and it ( to my amazement) is always in tune, every time I pick it up, it's ready to play!

i also ask the proud owner of a Regent RD26! i added a soundhole pickup and she is one of finest sounding, playing guitars i've ever played/owned!

"... the MG75ce is our first Cedar/Rosewood all-solid Grand Auditorium ..." I have heard and read this now a few times even from Chris Meikle on RU-vid. However, somehow, the Alvarez company seems to have forgotten that they had a very similar model the MG75SCE, solid cedar top, solid rosewood back and sides, satin finish, just different tuners, different pick.up system and different bracing, already out on the market in 2014. This and even the AD75ce (solid cedar top, rosewood laminate back and sides, I own that one) are both great guitars and have been revived in this year's 2024 models, with a few additional nice features and back from walnut to rosewood. So, why not just tell this to potential customers?
