I would love to do the Wings for Life World Run in person, let's see if I can help you out on your team. I did a half marathon in memory of my grandma back in March, and honestly it's such an incredible experience to go through all the weeks of training and then finally get to run the event. I raised more than £1500 for Alzheimer's Research, and the fundraising journey is so incredible and really puts things into perspective, it's so motivating to see everyone supporting you. The best training advice is to do regular runs and build up your distance each week, but never push your pace to the maximum as you are at risk of getting injured before the race day. Best of luck Jon, I hope to join you for the run! (If you're interested, I finished my half marathon in 1 hour 30 mins - in terrible weather conditions!)
