Elder David A. Bednar - By the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost as our constant companion, we can always retain a remission of our sins. www.lds.org/ge... April 2016 General Conference
Elder Bedner is a great guy and he dose a grate job in whute he can do in his tocks and i love him as a friend and a great guy and he enspiers me a lot for whut he does and I am grateful for him for being a grate profit that he is and my name is Delaney fry
Personally, I pay great attention to General Conference and to General Conference talks. There always is sound doctrine taught, to edify us and teach us on the things that we need to progress. I thank Elder Bernard for remembering me how to walk on the narrow and straaight path-way that the Lord left us in the New Testament. It really works!!! Angel Herrero Miami, Fl.
The heavens declare the glory of God & his elect witness of his Devine doctrine of perfect love & true joy. I love living in a time when I can choose to surround myself with words from our Father via his witnesses of truth. Prophets and Apostles that teach me that there not just commandments they are guidelines for finding true happiness.
I believe his words and support him. I do wish there was more love, or gentleness, or kindness in his tone. It is hard to hear his message through his delivery…it’s like he thinks I can’t understand him unless he talks forcefully, when the opposite is true. I do believe he is right in what he is saying.
Yeah I agree with you, I feel depressed when I listen to talks like these at times, as though living the gospel is this emotionless robotic process. I feel like a lot of people leave the church because they can’t find daily joy in living the gospel or they don’t feel like they can live up to a perfectionist image. There’s a reason the law of Moses was abolished. But I do support Bednar and I know he means well! I just feel sometimes his talks are shame or fear filled instead of filling us with hope or faith in our ability to live the gospel even though we don’t all have the same life circumstances as his.
