Pete Sandich (Richard Dreyfuss) is a legendary pilot with a passion for daredevil firefighting. However Dorinda (Holly Hunter), the woman he loves, and Al (John Goodman), Pete's best friend, know that legends can't take risks forever.
After sacrificing himself to save Al, the ace pilot faces his most challenging mission: helping Dorinda move on with her life.

Roger Ebert calling this beautiful film "Speilberg's Weakest" but even his weakest looks like a masterpiece ❤ Ms. Audrey Hepburn had a powerful screen presence that even her cameo in this film is magnificent

I Love, LOVE this film....Holly Hunter and Richard Dreyfuss had such great chemistry.....and this was the last film role for Audrey Hepburn ❤.....Love the dancing scenes with Holly and Richard, so romantic💜💜💜: ))))))

@@bruceharper8232 Color Purple is amazing. I always forget he did that. The scene when Shug sings "God is Trying to Tell You Something" makes me bawl everytime I watch it. I have seen that movie more times than I can count.

I absolutely loved this movie! Problem is now I have to pay extra to watch it. I saw this movie many years ago at the movie theater, so I've paid to see it once!

Really? This movie was incredibly boring and the dialogue is pretty bad and cringy. I forced myself to see this just so I could see every Spielberg movie. This movie proves Spielberg is human and by corollary is fallible.

And still so few people understand how the cosmos works. Still viewing reincarnations and the astral world in between incarnations as some religious concept. It's so funny how we know way more about the astral plane, than we know about the inside of Fort Knox. But still, it is considered "true" that Fort Knox holds gold, while it is considered "false" that so many hundreds of thousands of people from the astral plane have talked to many many millions incarnated people on earth. Such irony.
