I don't think she was being sarcastic, she was probably just uncomfortable because she knew that the fans were expecting her to say yes and that they wanted to hear her thoughts on clexa, but she didn't have much more to say so she just stalled I guess ^^
Emma Le Hecho I don’t know why but I feel like she’s so uncomfortable with this whole “Clexa” thing. Maybe she even felt uncomfortable playing a lesbian character.
@@edwardtomkinson3725 I don't think that's it. I think the clexa hype took unexpected proportions and the show received a lot of hate from clexa shippers when Lexa died. And years later she is still asked about it (on a panel for another show, too. I mean, this panel was about FTWD not The 100, right? so it's probably frustrating for her that most of the questions she gets are about Lexa) and she doesn't know how to provide an answer that will satisfy the fans without causing an fresh uproar of "Lexa deserved better". That's my take on it. I don't think she had any problem portraying a lesbian character (if she did, she wouldn't have signed for the part in the first place). She seems quite proud of her part in the 100 and of the representation it provided for the LGBTQ+ community, judging by what she posted on instagram when Lexa returned for the finale.
