A year out from the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia, Southern Stars wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy has set a new world record for the highest catch of a cricket ball
I love Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 culture, food and people are just so friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay there and saw MCG and practiced with the kids there. Thank You🙏 so much.
He's too busy playing "real" Cricket... And taking about records.... He's had enough of cricket records... And doesn't require a" lil Guinness certificate "... #cheers
Please stop comparing MSD with alyssa.. Both are different..We Indians will take mahi side because we know his struggle , his ups and downs, and he has been doing so much for Indian cricket. If we Indians think Mahi is best.. What's wrong in that ?? Alyssa is also best.. Just because we love Mahi doesn't mean we can't appreciate Alyssa
Most of the comments that are trolling in this video, is about ms dhoni that can catch a ball from the space, other planets, milky way galaxy, universe, multiverse etc.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They came close but some people were afraid to go because of the global pandemic. Small shame, because the record would have been broken. More importantly there was not an outbreak here at that time. We are finally seeing some lower daily case numbers here in the state of Victoria, Nov 2021. Thanks for you hoping for it. The final was indeed between India and Australia.
It's not that tough guys... Specially for the international players.....I'm sure Players like faf duplesis Or Jadeja can catch far more higher... N that too wd those gloves in..... Bcz from higher if there is wind making it difficult... But players like them r capable enough.
Man there are some salty sexist men in this comment section who just never want to admit a woman could be talented at sports...and Alyssa Healy is brilliant. Takes after her uncle for sure, one of the finest keepers in the world, man or woman.
The pure joy of running after taking the catch from oblivion 😊 next : me - how difficult can this be . It’s just a ball , thrown from like a tower with gloves on. Easy .. trinnnnn woke up . Damn it was a dream !
S.A.Y L.O.L the mcg light towers are the largest in the world in a cricket ground, in an English stadium the light towers are nowhere near as tall as the 80 metres of this ground
Why are people in the comments mentioning M.S. Dohni, Adam Gilchrist and even Tim Paine. What have they got to do with it. They are not here. If she wanted to catch it and GWR wanted to record it, I don't understand what Dohni, (who is the greatest fielder I've seen), has to do with it. Can some one explain this to me. And it better not be because they are male. You don't need a penis to catch a cricket ball. I have one and I have never been able to use it to catch a cricket ball. I've steered a car with it, but never caught a ball. And what's with the Moon? If you dropped a ball from the Moon, it would fall back to the Moon.
@@Sumit-vw7cx This GWR attempt was done to promote the attempt to break the Guiness world record for attendance at a women's sports event. Probably the soccer world cup final. The T20 women's cricket world final in Melbourne Australia would have broken the record if the covid19 pandemic didn't happen at that time. At least we still had a big crowd, (almost broke that world record and there was not an outbreak of the virus. So, a woman was trying to promote a women's tournament. I was asking what that has to do with male wicketkeepers such as Gilchrist and Tim Paine. Other comments have asked for Tim Paine to do this. I was confused by this. So I asked what they had to do with it? Later I saw one comment saying that Indian fans will talk about Dhoni and the Moon etc. I liked the response from Indian fans saying that he has better things to do. 😀
Am I the only one who thinks this record should only be counted if the record catch is caught during an actual game? Say, the batsman skies the ball before it is caught? Dropping it straight down when the fielder is directly below it and knows roughly where the ball is going to land seems a bit unfair to me.
@@lulu74ify Lmao Indians do play with Tennis play when they are young like 10 after that Indians play with Cricket ball,Red ball white ball u name it,You see Legends Virat Kohli Tendulkar Sehwag all played gulli cricket first and then proffesional. Like i said before, any gully cricketer could do that World Record what your Australia female cricketer whatever her name is did.
@@zester5704 Why you being so salty!?? Besides you probably have idea how high 80 metres actually is... It's way higher than the ball can possibly go in a gully cricket match for sure... In fact it never even goes nearly that high in international matches. There you go.
@Mr. Gray are you idiot none of them tried it and the 62 m was done in a match not in an Guinness attempt got it so if a men's wk attempt it he can break this record easily with not more than second attempt you are just giving some stupid excuses
@Mr. Gray and the food you are feeding to your brain has been expired a long time ago. Men's wk are not that free to do these types of things this record can easily be broken by a men's wk if he attempts it are you girl or are you a feminist or something because it's looks like you are if it isn't men's and women's difference then tell why there are men's and women's category in sports like shooting , archery , pool, etc just tell me the reason
