About the toilet seat issue, I had that problem with my husband and my son. So, I wrote a poem about the situation and it mostly solved the issue. They didn’t remember all the time but it’s much much better!

So happy that you have a podcast, loved the first episode! Also it seems like this josh dude has some kind of sensory issues. Maybe he'd do better in an environment he can control or with some noise cancelling headphones or something? That would let the roommate be able to do whatever she wants and not irritate josh

From my perspective I grew up with 2 older sisters I got teased a lot when I was younger but we all laugh about it now. Its a blast now for all of us being more grown up and dont get me wrong I still get teased a lot but still laugh about it today and I tease them back, I dont know if thats how it was with your brother Shubble, but thats my life growing up with two sisters

First story: How is it really the roommates responsibility to make sure the starving roommate is fed? She's not her parent...so her complaints about how "she's cheap, letting me starve" sound like a result of, "I didn't get my way so I'm going to be rude" 🙄 All I know is I would NOT expect my roommate to make sure I was fed, and if she was kind enough to share food you better believe I would eat whatever portion I got. If it was really that bad she could go to her parent, so it is clearly not that serious...just petty. The leftover roommate is just fine in what she is doing.

6:58 I’m a generally up toilet household. Only really down for the flush and if it’s really a bad one. But I do remember a time where it was the middle of the night so went to the toilet and because I usually have the toilet up I just say down straight on the back of the seat, expecting the toilet seat and hole to be there. So it works both ways.
