The fact that queen started this video by saying she UNDERSTANDS and KNOWS where Leslie is coming from has made me respect her so much more. When I watched leslies video i truly felt her pain and hurt, regardless of how messy it made her look or how bad it looks for her to speak on this 3 years later, its clear Leslie hasn’t healed from her 5 year relationship. Queen could have gone about this any type of way but she dealt with it respectfully. Leslie just needs to heal and move on from the situation and just accept that she’ll never get the closure she may want or think she needs.
But the way Queen's stans be playing both sides in this situation is crazy. They will say they "respect" Queen for understanding where Leslie is coming from as a woman, but won't try to understand themselves and will make fun of Leslie for basically being led on by Clarence. This is all about people's perceptions vs. the truth. The truth is that Clarence was single when he started entertaining Queen. But Leslie perceives it completely differently. I think she assumed that it was just another break up that they would bounce back from as usual (Clarence mentioned that they broke up & got back together multiple times). Unfortunately, thats not how life works. A break up is a break up & just because Leslie didn't let go of Clarence mentally/emotionally, that doesn't mean the relationship wasn't over.
