Am I being petty? (Gutter Vacuum upgrade) 

You did the right thing. GVS are a great company and will do what they can to help. equip 2 clean are being truthful saying 51mm inlet but they omit to say there is a reducer taking it down to 38mm! Their Christmas statement about GVS says it all - they even say they are sole supplier for GVS accessories which I very much doubt - very iffy business practice especially when everyone is closed so no verification possible. I think you made the right choice. Let us know how you get on with the GVS machine.

Gvs are a really good company to deal with. I've a Shadow gutter vac, absolutely brilliant! Fairly compact, light (when empty) and easy to manouevre. The shadow sits on the back seat of my van. I upgraded to 10 m hose, it's so much easier to use, even on domestic properties as you can be limited to siting the vac. Originally bought a coupler to join 2 hoses together but found it snags quite easily on uneven ground and adds a little weight. With your contract work, I'm sure you'll be adding hose length. Buy the best your budget allows. Hope all goes well with your new panther.

I'm glad I found your channel. I am looking for a reasonably priced gutter vac system and have been following your adventures. Was about to go the equip2clean route but decided to hold off for a while. Glad I did now. Looks like a decent piece of machinery from gv.

Whatever the inlet is 50/60/70m it has to be that at the other end in the gutters otherwise it's irrelevant if the tiles overhang to much 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Is it big different to compare with Titan with your last upgrade on it?

Is the kiam marketed as a gutter vacuum? Or just a wet/dry vac?

So matey..wats happening with the gutter vac situation at the mo?? And thanks so much for your videos... I don't know wether to start with gutter cleaning 1st...then save money for pressure washing equipment....or buy pressure equipment 1st..then save for gutter vac...as I want to do both...obviously the seasons depend on which to go for👍🏻

Panther is definitely better quality for same money. Also equip 2 clean have lied saying their sole seller for these Italian machines, wouldn't trust any of their products after lying like that

Mate, you've got to get your head around the old adage of buy cheap, buy twice! Use decent firms who provide decent products and your life will be so much easier! You're absolutely not wrong to do what you did, and you're 100% right about their misrepresentation on the website but their whole range of stuff is just Chinese copies of the industry standard stuff. Get away from them, personally

You weren't happy with the quality of the 1st new vac' for a number of valid reasons so you returned it for a more robust model from a different supplier.... Should you have waited for the upgraded model from the 1st supplier..?? Well, unless they told you of their plans-in-the-pipeline, how were you supposed to know about the upgraded model..?? Could it be a case of "Oh Sh*t, I wish I'd known and/or waited and I would have had a better model than the 2nd new vac' I purchased".... If the 2nd new vac' was missold or faulty or you're guaranteed a refund if you're not happy then I fail to see your point!! You could have modified the Screwfix "Titan" vac' inlet!

This hose actually sucks and the other one you had would be much better in terms of durability.

Stop buying cheaply made rubbish from equip2clean. There is a reason they sell items for a fraction of the price of a lot of other reputable supplier's. Buy cheap buy twice as they say. I appreciate in a young business that finding the finances to buy new equipment can be hard, but I have learnt first hand that when it comes to work, take a deep breath and pay the extra (even if it leaves the business a bit cash poor) and buy quality equipment. It will save so much stress in the future and you will make the money back several times over. I have bought cheap due to my financial situation and if I could go back in time I would always buy the better equipment because I ended up buying it further down the line anyway.
