So happy you have made the decision to close, instead of waiting for it to be mandatory - which I believe may be soon to come for most businesses, depending on where you are. I’ve seen so many lash techs and beauty industry professionals staying open still and stating they will remain business as usual, regardless. That is an unsettling thing, because we work so closely to clients faces, it’s definitely a high risk for all! I know and respect that you opened with the fact that you aren’t telling anyone what to do, but I sincerely hope you have at least inspired other beauty professionals to follow suite - because it shows commitment to public health and social responsibility. It is just the right thing to do!! I hope everyone stays safe and please practice social distancing! Our shop is closed until the end of the month also! I hope you can also make videos of how someone could possibly keep their skills up during this time. Someone mentioned sponge art somewhere, I have no idea what that even means! But making sets on a sponge!? If you know of that technique, or any other things we can do while at home, please share!

Thank you for making this video! I would love to hear your post-virus marketing ideas. I’m also out of my house and have a 2 month old. I had 2 clients come back to back last week. The first client told me during the service she had recently been sick. She has since went into the clinic due to having all symptoms of the virus, however they will not test her since she doesn’t have severe symptoms. The second client was pregnant. I actually had made my decision that day to close my doors and didn’t want to do the second client. She was adamant about continuing with the service, only to tell me she had been sick recently as well during her service with my face right next to her. Some people will not respect you, your home, or your family. They are clients I unfortunately will not be taking back. I hope everyone stays well and this ends soon 💕

Great minds think alike! As soon as I heard things were getting bad on Thursday here in Montreal, I decided to stop taking clients immediately. We work so close to the face and this is just such a high risk to take, we don't know who is infected so it's just best to be safe. It's not going to be easy but we will get through it! I absolutely love your videos, they've helped me so so much in my lash business and you continue to inspire me! 🙏💕💕

I just started my lash business from home and I am so sad with everything going on I won’t be lashing because I want my home safe so this video made me realize that it’s getting serious and we don’t know what’s going to happen 😕😟😔

Im lash tech & I also closed down. But I’m fairly new, will you honor the fill price for the fills that won’t be fills anymore bc of shutting down? Or will you just charge for a full set?

Kathie Valle lash tech too 🙋‍♀️ I would.. it pays to do out of the box nice things for your clients in the long run it puts us above others and clients remember things like this and we gain more clients too.. atleast that’s my humble opinion hope it helps

I decided to shut down until April 6th! Felt it was best to give all my existing clients “fill prices” rather than charging them for a full set. It is only fair, in my opinion ☺️

Yeah I’m thinking I’ll just charge large fill price for everyone! Not charge them for a full set because they are loyal it’s more worth it to do it that way to keep them coming back! ❤️

Yes i will honour the fill price, for sure. I will not advertise it, because i dont want to run that on for months but I will surprise them when they book. Im sure they already guess, because they know i am fair.
