Just do whatever makes you happy girly, I’m half Mexican, my mom from Queretaro,and I didn’t want all the stress of a Quince, so I just went on a super fun trip with some of my friends because I knew that’s why I would enjoy the most.
Txu just remember this is YOUR Quinceañera not anybody else”s so just remember it doesn’t have to have chambelans or dances if you don’t want them my cousin had a Quinceañera and she didn’t have chambelanes she just danced with her family members and that was it also remember heels and dresses are totally an option because if you want to dress all pretty and do your makeup go for it but you could also wear a shirt and jeans with some boots my cousin did that and looked fabulous

Same I can relate for me just like the fear what if my friends don’t show up and also the fear of social anxiety, but if you have like an older cousin or like a family member, I feel like it would be the best to talk to them about it
u should do it! i almost didn’t have one, for almost the same reasons as u but we ended up having a small family only party, with a small venue and a beautiful poofy dress, i didn’t have a court or val’s and it was still very fun and i don’t regret having it at all! the memories are forever!!

My prima did it her 15th actual birthday was in January and she had her quince in august! It was so fun! my quince is in 3 years and we are already planing! So you have a lot of time !

I already have a quincenera last year in October 21st Saturday 2023 on my dad birthday and he was turning 45!!!!!Now this year he will be 46 and I will be 16 in October 24th on Wednesday!!❤It will be so much fun Txu! You are brave!! :)

Here some tip as someone who had a quinceañera. You don’t have to have guy friends (chambelans), it can be just damas and not a lot of them too. I only had one because none of my family ever had one and when I was the first everyone was s emotional. It truly is a blessing to celebrate with friends and family. The quince party doesn’t have to be big whatever suits you and you are comfortable. On my opinion it worth it, you only turn quince once and u don’t have to celebrate it on the exact day of ur birthday (I didn’t). But I’m sure you will make the right decision! ❤

I have a sister that had a quinceñera and it was great. ofc it would take a BUNCH of time to find a place to do it in, photographer, dress, dress for ur family, decor and idk any more. Btw you don't need chambelanes (aka guy friends to dance with) my sister only had 4 damas and only 1 main chambelan just to dance with! but it's ur choice txu

you should definitely have it. Me personally I’ve never had one because it’s not in my culture. BUT I do have a friend who invited me to her quince and it was a very nice experience to be invited to. She was excited and me and some of our friends helped her pick out her makeup and dress. It was very fun. I think you should have a quince, but at the end of the day it’s your choice and do what makes you comfortable and happy ❤❤❤❤❤
U should do it! Your quince can be done in the barn and outside not all quince’s are inside you can make your quince unique and for you main entrance you can ride a horse bc it’s what you like to do so bring the things you enjoy into your special day bc you are only 15 once

Would be fun to do! You don’t need to have the large scale procession with a bunch of guys! You could just use your siblings and a couple of close friends and I’m sure it will still be special. You only get the chance to do this once so why not!

There is always other options like maybe a cruise or a trip or to a nice restaurant with your friends that’s what my sister did my mom made her cake my dad owns the restaurant so we had a whole section to ourselves and she invited 15 people Cuz. It’s a quinceanera we sing happy birthday and we went to some shopping stores and open the presents and my sister got to invite one friend to sleep over and go to the beach with us next day.
Well it’s usually takes about 7-5 years to plan a quince. You can also have a quince when ur 16. Would honestly cost thousands of dollars for such little time.
