This week I will be talking about bank shifts and why too much of it is a bad thing. I might get a lot of different views on this but it is good to get everyone talking and share their thoughts. Watch this video to see what I mean.
A very underrated video. I Experienced this. I would do 2 x LD every Saturday and Sunday on the bank, my bank salary was more than my substantive contract and I noticed my NI, Tax and even my student loan contributions went up significantly; my student loan some months was £350 a month (9% over a certain amount of income), NI was £400 and tax was around £400.
Hi, thank you for the vert useful video. Can you explain what is the payment when you do a overtime on Bank holiday? (Its a different pay if the bank holiday is Friday day shift or night shift? )
hi sir Jake. salamat sa informative video. on average I'm doing one bank/week, I opted to be paid weekly (delayed 1 week or bale every other week ang sweldo) and naka separate payslip sya (same account number but with "-2" lang ). ask lang ko kung naa ka idea how my bank pays are being taxed? just in case naa ka kaila na ani pud ang scenario. hantod man gud ron wa pa nako ma figure out. basin pareho ko sa imo friend na makurat nalang sukton kalit ni HRMC sa end of tax year. 😅
