I recognize today that I am poor in spirit and that I need EVEN MORE of Jesus🙏🏻. I was just thinking while I was praying this morning if I was lukewarm😮
Repent my friend, I struggled with the same thoughts, but I know Jesus died for me, so I have nothing to fear, pray that the Lord softens your heart and that your desires to do good grows. He will never let you down.
You don't sound lukewarm. The lukewarm aren't concerned about their relationship with God. It does sound like the devil is trying to convince you you're not good enough. Don't let him do it. Do you fear the lord? Does your fear of the Lord make you want to do better? If so, you're not lukewarm.
Nuh-uh. You're not lukewarm, you understand you my lack some qualities in a Christian, but there's time to grow bro. That's the beauty of God, you aren't screwed, you're just down and you have a Lord who's willing to help and is helping you get back up, to be what he needs you to be. Hang in there brother
Just go after God with all your heart. The closer you move toward God, the more He reveals of Himself. And believe me when I say this, the more He reveals himself to you, the more infatuated you become with Him. This world isn't base reality, we're living in a fake, simulatory dream world. Satan's matrix. Unplug yourself from the illusion and follow after God with child-like innocence and wonder. And he will change you and draw you closer to Him. I backslid for years, it's only recently my relationship has grown so intimate with the Lord since moving to pursue Him 100% after quitting my job and leaving home all for Him. Now I've experienced so much of Him, I'm never going back to the ways of this world. Take a leap of faith! This world and its offerings aren't worth anything. It's all ephemeral. Choose God who is eternal!
Don't let the adversary deceive you into thinking that you are not worth saving. You are on your path to greatness, and God will be there for you to look up to Him. Do not despair, for He is with you, even when you are at your lowest. And you can see Him working through us in these comments, supporting you. We are here for you my friend.

Sin is already dealt with by Jesus on the cross. The flesh cannot please God no matter how many good deeds you do. Walk in the spirit the word of God says. "The flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing" Fear God's chastisement if you're disobedient, doesn't mean that you will lose salvation. God chastise those who he receives because he loves us
Repent turn away from your sin and obey God’s word develop a relationship with Jesus through the holy sprit he loves you and isn’t mad at you but he wants you to come to him
It is important to recognize that Jesus is talking to the church as a whole in this passage. Live close to Jesus. Never be ashamed of him. You'll make it.
