The price of raw materials raises every year, especially since Covid, therefore prices have to be raised, its kind of impossible to expect such low prices anymore without compromising on either the ingredients, packaging or any other aspect of a product.

My two cents: I got the Milani mascara after seeing Jen Phelps talk about it and I think it is exactly like the Thrive for me. I bought the Thrive mascara years ago and thought it was a dry formula but I got it again recently and it was very wet, just like the Milani. I don't know if they changed the formula or if maybe the first one I got was just sitting around the warehouse and dried out. But I looked at the ingredients and the Milani and Thrive mascara are almost exactly the same and in the same order. I realize that the Thrive formula isn't for everyone but if you like it, then you will love the Milani one.

Good to know - I love the Thrive one too but thought maybe it was a bit too dry , didn’t know it was meant ti be that way I always wished for a bit more moist formula .

Happy holidays, Taylor! Thanks for recommending the hemish tubing mascara this year. Also got the milani anti gravity mascara. My kids are 4 and 1. The older one isn’t entertained by going to Target anymore 😂

I don’t care about skin care in my makeup products. I’m going to put my skin care on before makeup but I don’t mind a little extra. It’s just not something I look for. I’m going to try the Milani powder. I have dry/normal skin but have large pores. It’s so hard to find a powder that doesn’t make me look dryer. Thank you for your amazing videos this year! Oh, they absolutely are. What one needs in mascara others may need something else. I don't even bother to purchase all of the different ones being tested now because I've been burned too many times. Thanks to a Reddit user I finally found one that has taken the place of my old standby. It's still from Maybelline which I like because I know I can always find it in store...

I’m getting really tired of the drugstore prices lately. I refuse to pay high prices for drugstore products; I will just pay a few bucks more for high end. I’m not really a Milani fan. The only Milani products I like are the lip oils, and those prices are skyrocketing too, so I’m thinking I’m going to buy the cheapest high end version of a lip oil next time I need one. I’m not paying high prices …… for Milani

10:19 you look especially gorgeous in this clip!!! I tried the tubing mascara yesterday, it kiiiinda came off in tubes but like pieces of tubes. Definitely not smudgey but not perfect tubes like other ones. How do you like to remove tubing mascara? I think it's a pretty good mascara! It held a curl, I did the same thing and curled when it dried.

Kinda got excited when you showed the Milan brow product. But then to see that it's clear? Nope, not for me. I have the one from NYX in clear. While it's not a wax I noticed as you applied the Milan product it left white streaks in your brow hairs. Those did seem to fade away but during the rest of the video I did notice something that looked like a white flake near one of your brows. Please correct me if I'm wrong, lol. I tried the new loreal mascara but I did not like the brush. It made application difficult and a little messy on the bottom lashes. I ordered the Milani mascara because it looks like a doop for Thrive. I hate purchasing $25+ on a mascara.

I received the Milani mascara about three days ago and I do agree with you, it is a wet formula that weighs my lashes down but I do like the lasting power with it. What mascaras do you recommend for lengthening (it can be drugstore or high end)?

That new Loreal mascara is one of the worst I’ve ever used. I was so excited for it because it got such good reviews, but it didn’t work for me 🙁. It was really hard to remove too.
