I trust you are keeping well.
In this video, I would appreciate if you can give your thoughts on my experience with a group of women I had considered to be my sisters.
I believe this is a topic that needs to be debated in order for us to move forward in unity as a group of people with a common cause. x

You are absolutely on point Monique I always wonder why they alway want to create thier all American gated communities wherever they start to build forgetting it's Ghanaians giving them the opportunity to build their homes by selling them the lands. Ones they get thier feet on the ground most of them take the knowledge acquire from the locals and turn around playing middlemen to fellow African Americans and telling them the locals are scammers or bad people. Meanwhile they are the same ones who taught them and helped them achieve thier goals locally. But the black-wash the locals as bad people and scammers to convince thier fellow African Americans to use thier so called services for high amounts of fees. Just for thier own greed. They always want others to come through them. They mostly have the slave master mentality.

@@MoniqueTchimanga and I love the example you gave as Liberia, it was spot on and your response was good. You know my get this attitude from the diaspora from Europe or Canada or Carribean, they evwn forget South Americans are also included. Yet they always speak with some entitlement, and you hear some of the nobodies usually saying in interview they are coming to Africa to teach the Africans or help them. Yet a lot come with nothing to offer the locals but thier own interests. I have been following this topic for years on various RU-vid channels and trying to correct them of this mentality which I even stated the example of Liberia to them. Their own people have scammed them of passports, instead of coming to live and learn the culture to learn they go about cutting corners to get passports and citizenship which is very wrong because a lot of them have bad records let alone to be running around with our passports. I believe citizenship is earned. They have these various societies as afro Israelites and others. One lady in Cape coast that owns those village style huts hotel along the beach made a shocking talk in an interview she did with some fellow African Americans in Rwanda, Imakush is her name she spoke badly about the villagers and I was shocked because this is the same community that welcomed her and took her in. A lot of them come with nothing and when the locals show them they thing they know it all and claim to be bosses calling the locals scammers. Forgetting in Africa everybody is bargain. Almost all of them running your groups and taking the money of thier own as all in one package. Yet most of them pay no tax on this business causing loss to the nation and the people of Ghana. Because they take the payment into their personal accounts and run the show. Looking at most of the cases of fraud more are carried out by themselves. Some of the smart ones when they come and realise it's not what they were told they quickly switch to the locals. That's Free land in Cape Coast given to the diaspora, do has still been struggling because every one of them want to takeover management there to scam their own. They even want to fence the whole area segregating themselves from the villagers. Meanwhile the chiefs sacrificed these farmlands from the villagers to create housing for the diaspora by offering them the free land for them to be able to build their homes. Due to corruption some are getting huge ridiculous sizes of land allocation to them than others. The chiefs gave this free land for them to come and integrate and create jobs for the local community to also thrive on but all it has attracted so far is nothing beneficial to the people or villagers. Monique this issues are too many to even talk about on here. Recently a group was scammed because a certain AA person who is q leader in one of their societies offered to help them get Ghanaian passports at a fee and later disappeared with their money ad they could not reach him. And other came up with a collective investment idea and took all their money including that of pensioners and gave them the excuse the money is lost because the Ghanaian government shut some banks and their money went along with it. Which local has pulled off such? None but themselves. I hate when they say Africans hate them. Even abroad they envy Africans for doing well and progressing because they don't want to do most jobs or have issues with the Whiteman, and they are angry to see a fellow African doing anything to survive and looking after family. When Kwame Nkrumah and others opened the doors for them to come home long ago they denied we Africans saying we are malnaurished and live badly and they wouldn't come home because they prefer the milk and honey out there. Now they are giving excuse that we Africans hate them.its sad and funny when I hear this.

Totally with you Monique. I have been listening to our diaspora family and some of them have been making utterances that seem to suggest they have an agenda to take over the "land". As you have reminded us of what happened in Liberia years back, it is my hope that our diaspora family learn from that and coexist in harmony with the locals. Ghanaians love their peace more than anything in the world, but never anyone take for granted the peacefulness and welcoming nature of Ghanaians, unless they are ready to face wrath of all Ghanaians for disturbing their peace.

I’m American living in GH I myself don’t deal with most of the Americans in Ghana 🇬🇭. They are some kind of way and most don’t stay long any way. I surround myself with good people who understand unity and peace no matter where they are from. I try to integrate myself surrounded by locals. Sorry this happened to you. I’m married to a Ghanaian and have 2 children. I would go to war if my family were treated anyway other than with human decency and dignity. We need a true sister’s group for peaceful people.

I’m sorry you had this experience, I don’t know why or what the requirements were to attend. I would only be guessing as to why. Someone needs to come forward and explain. I’m african-American. O my my my. This is absolutely insane. @ Monique Tchimanga , I am so sorry those people treated you that way. I am African American, and wish I could be there to attend the retreat and take you with me so that I can give them a dose of their own medicine, I PROMISE the word RETREAT would take on a whole new meaning for them, HOW DARE THEY!!!. Those types of people make it difficult for their own even here in America. They look down on their brothers and sisters in America if they do not meet THEIR standards of excellence. In America they are called Bougee, Stuck-Up, and seen as the problem of the divide that continues to plague our communities. I can guarantee you sister that for every 1 of those AA in that group, there are multiples of thousands here that hurt for you, because they understand. Because I know my YAH does not like confusion and that His will is NOT for us to remain divided, I know that I know HE will dismantle their little plans. They will not last very long there and when they leave they will blame the country's government, or they will say that they have been mistreated, they won't say they left because they were horrible individuals who need healing from the spirits of oppression, depression, arrogancy, and deception. We have a saying here amongst ourselves, and that is " All Skin Folk Ain't Kin Folk" meaning that just because they look like you, it doesn't mean they care about you. Monique we who know you and your kind spirit love you and will include you in our lives. You are better off staying from such attitude and thinking. People think racism is only from another skin shown towards black people but sad to say some of our kind from the west are racist and this is what had happened. That is a problem but I think this is beyond discrimination. Here is what I have noticed we African Americans come to Africa first of all we are being called "white man" so subconsciously we are thinking we are better than Africans and I think it is about time that Africans change the ideology and know there are equal or better than white people. I do not think African Americans are intentionally or knowingly do what you are describing. That is the same treatment we are or were getting from white folks till we decided we are just as important as they are then the narrative changed. So from what I have notice Africans need to stop looking at foreigners as superior to themselves but equals. That old narrative has passed. African Americans will not becoming to Africa if their lives were great, same is the white and Chinese. Most of these Chinese we're poor people in China until they came to Africa and worked hard. So Africans need to stop bowing all foreigners.

based on your story, i think they handled it poorly. but, i think it's fine for black americans or any immigrant group anywhere to gather together because they want to talk about issues that impact them. i think you're over-reacting, esp. with that liberian nonsense and your true colors came out - "i know where i come from." that's why they only wanted black americans there, not people who low-key dislike them. why don't you do some videos on the arabs, whites, indians and chinese who are there running africans around?

In this instance, it’s about our Black/African American sisters. l am sharing my own personal experience. If an occasion arises to debate about other immigrants in Africa, I will certainly share it.

Excuse me but we all know that they didn't want no Africans there so they could bash em at ease. I know how it goes, I have been in those circles and heard how they talk about locals. Not in Ghana tho. That's why a lot of AA in Africa prefer to do their own thing instead of being in these groups. And it's always the elder women that do this kind of things. We call those kind commères édentées in french. If they didn't want her to be there then why did they take her money. They should have written not open to Africans. Period
