Rebecca I was totally hurt when my mother in law relayed to me that her sister wanted to know if I was pregnant when I married my husband. This hurt my feelings, and I blamed my mother in-law as that she was the messenger. You forgive but you never forget. I am 74 years old and have been married 53 years. This video just triggered that memory.

Sometimes I would tell them yes I am, knowing I wasn't then when they found out otherwise they'd apologize. Other times I'd bluntly tell them "NO, I'm fat!!", then I'd smile. 😁 That one really got them and there would be so many apologies. Dang, people can't even wait until you at least married to ask? I can never understand why some people feel the need to be all up in a woman's uterus. Like are you gonna be helping pay the cost of taking care of said child? No? Then why you need to know? My thing is if a person is pregnant and wants me to know then they will tell me when they are ready. If they don't (based on relationship) that's fine too. For the friend that asked you at the beginning, I can kind of understand, as most people don't understand that a couple can meet and fall in love and decide in less than a yr vs a long relationship before deciding, so to them, if a person say they are getting married so quick the first instinct would be to think it's a shot gun wedding cause of pregnancy. But while I can understand that, again unless you and person are close like fry bake and cocoa tea, it's not ok to ask them what going on in their uterus.

Hey! Great question. It depends on which area of Florida and price point whether it is a buyer’s or seller’s market. As for my personal business I have already doubled what I sold last year. The state of the market doesn’t slow down my business it just means I pivot strategy. Right now listings are taking longer to sell but I price then right so they do sell. Buyers have an advantage because I am able to negotiate for the seller to pay closing cost that they are able to use to either come to the table with less money or use the seller credit to buy down their interest rate. Another route that my clients have been going is new construction. Most are offering credits, lower interest rates, or both!

Because of my age (68) they won't give me a 30 yr mortgage, if they did then payments would be higher. Plus I'm not sure with my score not being where I want it. If the tummy looks big, and, continues to enlarge/grow bigger, it's obvious the woman is pregnant. If, she doesn't say anything about it, she doesn't want to. When you meet your life partner, it’s ok to gain a few pounds, it’s called comfort weight, However, some people associate getting pregnant with getting married, like what! I don’t want nobody asking if I’m pregnant, that’s my business and the attitude or response you receive will definitely be rude, especially if I’m getting married soon, which is my case now as well.
Factsss! I was also getting comments saying “is that a baby bump I see?” Which is associated with my body. I don’t mind my weight gain at all it’s annoying when I keep getting comments saying I look pregnant or I had one saying I look like I might have fibroids. It’s rude!!
