I think the accent thing is subjective, But literally everything else about Relapse? You gotta respect it at the least. From the beats/production to the rhyming/flows/storytelling/creativity? It's top tier rapping at it's best. Just my opinion tho.

Must Be The Ganja goes into a skit called Mr. Mathers. The reason it ended so abruptly is because it symbolizes him overdosing, so the next track, the skit, is the medics calling out Mr. Mathers, until they take him away. After Mr. Mathers, it is a song called Deja Vu, which tells his story of drugs and then him overdosing, so it kind of shows the background. Well told storytelling, its a triple song series. I believe it goes even further because after Deja Vu, it's the song Beautiful which talks about overcoming his addiction, so it's a nice series of songs. Just letting you know!

Relapse is Eminem's best album and I don't care what anyone says. Sticks to one main theme throughout, with insanely dense rhyme schemes and unmatched lyricism. I've been studying music for about 6 years now and anytime I get asked about hip hop this is the first album I recommend to people. This album is hip hop condensed into its truest form.

It's called text painting. When you sing the "High" as a high note. Other examples are when people sing "Falling" or "Down" while going down the scale so the words are actually falling.

Never had a problem with the accents I loved them from the first listen. They're fun and interesting to me. How he bends sounds and words immediately caught my attention, and how the beats, that are also fantastic, were like a playground for this process and how the voices and flows sound so dope with the music. Also of course the crazy lyrics, the creative storytelling, the complex condensed schemes. Whatever was in people's ears, they need to clean them out.

I had heard it was supposed to be bad, yet for every track I was like omg this hits hard. Was super confused by the hate, and even after reading about it I don't actually understand it, because my initial reaction was the exact opposite. Relapse wouldn’t be my got too Eminem album because of how wacky it is, but his writing ability that is displayed on this album is insane. The flows and rhyme schemes are just incredibly. He’s literally like nobody else. Nobody can think of and put together words like he does. And he does it best here. This song is the pinnacle for me. Every Syllable is so perfectly put together, it’s not human.

I did the favor of looking up the lyrics, apparently it goes "Tic tac toe - your six pack with Exacto" to either reference the game Tic tac toe (not likely, game has 9 squares) or having a six pack of abs on the body 🤷‍♂️. #KnoxHill @KnoxHill i just saw your title and had to jump on to say yes, yes you are sleeping on Relapse. It’s literally produced by Dre all but one album and he went hardcore horrorcore rap on it too. It’s got crazy wordplay and rhyme schemes and it may take a few listens compared to the other classics but believe me when I say, you’ll rank it as a classic and in a league of its own.

i love the whole cereal killer theme in this album. its a masterpiece. i found myself listening to it some much at one time i found myself having to delete it off my hd/playlist.
