I bought my a6600 because of your videos. I recently upgraded to the a6700 because I do a lot of insect pictures. Thank you for the great videos.

My first Sony camera was the 6600 camera and two months ago I upgraded to the 6700. I really enjoy the video capabilities! It's a really good upgrade

I have this camera and I’m in love with it! 10 bit video, 4K 60p no crop and the bigger grip makes this camera almost perfect for me

My first Sony apsc was the zv-e10 and that’s still my main video camera I love Sonys eco system. I even went back and bought the a6000 open box at Best Buy for like 450 it was basically brand new and that’s been my main photography camera. I have since went down a rabbit hole of Sony cameras which I will review one by one on my channel Cheers 🥂

Great job on the video! Thanks for making it. I am currently torn between getting an FX30 and the new A6700. I think that ultimately what I'm going to do is get the FX30 first, and then trade in my A6400 towards an A6700 in December.

Bro, I think you were one of the first people I watched after getting my a6400. So I get it when people say why do you have a ff in your hands😂. Either way you make a good point, use your tool and get to know it inside out. We don’t need to upgrade until the buttons are broken😂. Take it easy man.

Loved the video! Been watching a lot of different videos trying to decide on my first camera. Some many things to take into consideration. Im starting out more as a hobby but hope it leads to something more. I had been eyeing up the A6400 for some time, but would I be better to start with the a6700? Also what 1 or 2 lenses would you recommend yourself to start out with? Would most likely be starting out doing car and landscape type photography more than portraits. Thanks!!

Hi, I'm using a Sony ZV-E10 as my main photo camera (I'm not really into video), do you think a6700 is a great upgrade from zv-e10 in terms of color science and low light performace? I already invested in apsc lenses, so I have a doubt upgrading to full frame..

I have the ZV-E10 and the A7Sm3. Can't imagine needing to upgrade for the forseeable future.

Awesome video. I’m just retiring from Paramedicine here in Nova Scotia. Trying to decide between APS-C in either Sony or Fuji. Maybe used full frame in Sony lol. Thanks for the great insight. Great Review! I'm a bit torn to be honest, I have the Sony A7Riv but I'm finding its 'too much camera' once you put a standard zoom for general purpose, travel and walks etc. Think I might 'upgrade' to APSC and the 6700 looks ideal. (Or maybe the ACii?! Arrgghhh!)

I have the A6700 with Sony 16-55 2.8 and 20mm 1.8. All I need for now. Try the 20mm if you get the chance.

I think for me is not to much about apsc vs full frame. But I follow your channel because I have a apsc camera and I think I will never be able to buy a full frame camera, because of the price, and I want to see you “teaching” how to get the most out of apsc camera. I love your videos by the way.

Have you compared 4k 120 fps on Sony A6700 with 1080 120.fps on A7IV? The footage I’m seeing looks close.

I bought the a6700 and 5 lenses to get into video. I have 2 A1’s and there are more video settings on a6700! I’m hoping the rumored a1 FW coming out will upgrade those menus. Even my a74 has more goodies than a1

Let's say you use Sony 200-600 in that case of A6700, what low shuttertimes can be used handheld for photography to not get blurred photos? 1/40? or not so much?

10-bit 422 is the biggest upgrade for me. Going to be great for color grading.

Visiting Iceland in about 3 weeks! Any tips for photography?

As a low budget filmmaker, my approach to acquiring cameras and gear (lights, etc.) has to be very controlled and thought out. Just this past weekend, Sony had an event at a local camera store here in Los Angeles. Even though the event was focused on photography, I went because I knew I could borrow a camera to shoot tests with. I already own the FX30. And since the a6700 came out, I wondered if it would be a good b-cam for my FX30 since it has the same sensor as the FX30. After looking over the footage I shot with the a6700, I realized what a fantastic camera it is. And that it would be a perfect b-cam to my FX30. I didn't try any of the other features in the a6700. I mainly shot in 800 ISO and 2500 ISO to see if it in fact has the dual base ISO of the FX30. And I can confirm that it does. So, I may be adding the a6700 to my filmmaking gear soon. Then again, Panasonic came out with the G9ii. Which can also record to an external SSD in ProRes HQ. Why Panasonic? Well, they have had the best skin tones in my view. So, it's a tough choice these days. We are being spoiled by a lot of new cameras that are now equipped with insane power and AI. Crazy times we live in.

I just bought the A6700 last 2 weeks, and when uploading it inside my iphone or ipad. It cannot read my Raw Files, Do you have any idea? Is it because it’s still new?

I owned ZV-E10 and tempted to switch to a6700 until i heard rumours about ZV-E10 MII. I think i will wait until ZV-E10 MII release then decide later 😌

Bro, the a6400 was my first camera ever in 2019. It’s The camera that I learned on, that I started my videography career with and the camera that I still use to this day in my career. I found you a few years ago and have been able to learn so much about it that every time I’ve thought of upgrading, I’ve just pushed further into developing my skills with it and found myself able to get more work, better results and save tons of money. I shoot projects with it that It should have no business being on. Over the last year I’ve seriously been considering upgrading to a full frame, but now that I know the apsc system so we’ll, I’ve acquired all the lenses I need, absolutely love the small form factor for what I do, the second the 6700 came out, it hit me that everything I actually wanted to upgrade for is all in this new apsc camera. Logically I have zero reason to switch to full frame. It would be a huge waste of money for me and I would no longer have the tight form factor that I love about apsc. I am going to the “CAMERA STORE” and buying the 6700, as well as the new 70-200 today! I’ll be getting a massively upgraded body and sweet new glass for less than the new bodies I was looking at! Absolute no brainer! It’s not even a question for me, the work I do and how I like to use my camera. Literally every need is checked!

The dynamic range is getting higher upon every release of APS-C bodies, but still not as near as even the older full frame like the A7 III (which is still pretty much on-par with newer full-frame bodies' dynamic range). The A6700 is certainly a leap for APS-C, while for Full-frames, it has stagnated in terms of dynamic range, so they focus on focusing AI.

i am a sony FF guy , got a camera for my pleasure to fool around (A7c1) that I adore to mount vintage lenses on or small sony lenses and is super good, and then for work i got the fx-3 (yeah for work i do video, not photos) but if im gonna get an apsc camera for like travels and stuff , it would be a fuji camera to shot jpeg photos with their film simulations and just uploead right away in my social media , (if they can shot both raw and jpeg i would probably edit them at home after the trip) BUUUUUUUUT....... from a realistic point of view i don´t think ill ever just throw cash just like that and just stick to my a7c mk1 and just call it a day........ and if i ever go more serious for photos, then get the 7RV..... cause lets faace it...... is the jam
