Look up the genetics tests genealogy etc. There's literally no real pure black pll in the US. They literally all have some white ancestry. So literally it's self hate. I don't know much about the world of rap, but way back when (im old), it was said that some rappers are in actual gangs and write about what they go through, like killings and such. Where I live, I hear that some young, black teens want to go to jail to be accepted in gangs or merit respect. It's very good you disassociate yourself from that music because what you listen to, is what most probably gets stuck in your heart and out of the heart, comes our actions.
Oh my the stuff i heard being blasted from a delivery truck at Christmas time ..driver was young black male with cursing, descriptive sex acts and n word. I told the guy it wasn't okay and he needed to watch what nusic he listened to while working because he could get in trouble.

Especially since everyone else is allowed to celebrate their cultures but “white” people aren’t allowed to. There is no white history month. I tell my kids to be proud of where they come from. But they do not have to focus on what color skin they have.

I'm black and many black people I speak with about this same subject agree with him. I don't believe he's racist. He's just speaking facts. I've heard other rappers repeat what he said. These are great rappers, but the music labels and radio stations won't make/play their music because it's too positive, not enough violence or sexual content in it to get airplay. The violent lyrics and sexually explicit music videos have corrupted this young generation's mind.
