Fun Fact :- Most coal plants in china use made in India coal gasifiers that are made in the L&T's A M Naik Heavy engineering plant in Surat, Gujarat. In fact, china still imports lots of reactors, gassifiers, boilers, and various other heavy engineering systems and goods from India, specifically from the L&T's Surat plant mentioned above. All possible becaue of A M Naik sir. There is another L&T heavy engineering complex in Vadodara, Gujarat. Together, these two plants also contribute to all the equipments and components for India's nuclear power plants. India contributed the Cryostate for ITER in France. Which is one of the most critically important part and very hard to manufacture, weighed at over 2800 tons, also manufactured at L&T Surat plant. So proud of L&T and A M Naik sir who made the company into the titan it is today.
I always wondered why India does not have a cutting edge engineering company? like Germany has Bosch, Siemens, Macklenburger; US has GE; France has Rafale until I came to know that Mumbai Bandra sea link bridge the first of its kind in India was built by Larsen and Toubro. There are hardly any long-length interviews by you sir and I thank moneycontrol for this. Hope he does more of these to educate upcoming engineers. 😅
Wonder what kind of life he led without taking a single leave... Working 15 hrs... Then sleeping 6 hrs... 3 hrs for commute and eating etc... That means he had 0 time for family... If you feel proud of that and see it as an achievement... Then there is a big big problem
