This is what an AMA should be like . Loved the way Anuj Sharma answered all the questions without shying away and even accepting their mistakes even got to know the brands perspective and it gave new incites great😄
I remember the time when Redmi Note 4 was launched and flash sales were absolutely cutthroat. I couldn't get one and ultimately got the Motorola X Play. Don't get me wrong, I loved Motorola and ended up using their phones for almost 3 years. But there was something about the Redmi Note series that was always at another level. Unfortunately, as the years passed by, the ads, bloatware, heating etc dragged Xiaomi down. The reason I am saying this is because I want them to put out great phones and experiences like they used to. Because we all know that it was Xiaomi and their aggressive pricing that shook the smartphone market and made other companies work hard on what consumers want. This competition is what is beneficial for end users like us. All the best for 2023 Xiaomi.
Same with me. I was to purchase a Redmi Note 4, but after trying more than 4 times, the flash sale was impossible to grab a single unit. Then I have to purchase YU Yureka Black at the same price point. Software support was already sucked of micromax at that time then. But after a year I grabbed the Redmi Note 5 Pro. That was a great phone software that was also very that time. Then I get to know that redmi has started giving ads to their phones irrespective of their price point. Still next I purchased the Redmi K20 again and still I didn't see any ads there but still I easily turned off all the recommendation settings. Then things changed and MIUI was most stable in "Xiaomi Phones" rather than "Redmi Phones" now. Then I purchased "Xiaomi 11 Lite NE" and there were not a single ads or anything there even though I didn't turn off any settings. MIUI on this phone was a breeze and butter smooth. Even tho MIUI in china has a ton of features and almost 20% comes to India, but I still like this UI.
@Keep CalmYes. Even people were giving extra ₹500-1000 for that phone because it was impossible to get online. And the most unavailable colour was black.
Really amazed that he did not try to defend there strategies of launching too many phones which are similar in price and performance. He accepted that was not a good move but it was necessary at the time. And also accepted Note 11 series was not that exciting. Only thing I expected is , they serious think out of the box and make MIUI for India..
Sir I completely enjoyed the calm and composed talk u guyzz were having very nicely he explained a lot of things especially the pricing perspective... Damn gr8 CMO , i guess we should see some significant improvements with Xiaomi as a brand whole and thus we will get amazing products.
Ranjit sir...for only u i open ur videos in regular RU-vid app for ads revenue to be transferred to u... As there are other ways tooo.. to watch RU-vid adfree A die hard fan of u...had purchased redmi note 7 pro from ur suggestion and still it's back camera 48 MP sony imx576 has no competition till 25-30 k smartphone.... I am huge fan of ur blunt honest videos ... among tech RU-vidrs ..i m only subscribed to u... and always like first and then watch further video... REALLY REALLY.....i m a huge fan sir of ur honesty....pls NEVER STOP these...i inow u won't as bcz its ur values... BTW i m a medical student now sir...hope for my better future endeavours
What Mr Anuja Sharma said is correct, budget value for money phone cannot always be in 15-16k range over a period of time, even samosa also hike from 8 to 15 rs now which is nearly double the price in 5-7 years, but he explained honestly what are the factor that is contributing to the hike of a product, anyways Thanks to Mr Ranjit for trying connect a Product company with general customer and gather lot of information.
Really amused by the insights he gave across launching various varients and also about price increase over the years...... really appreciable....great video !
Ranjit Sir...Kudos to you & Xiaomi esply Mr. Anuj for having such Good AmA session, giving insights & sharing more abt Redmi/Xiaomi...I have been a Note User before but from past 3-5 Yrs..that i have seen & exp.. 1 major reason i was very Unhappy with Xiaomi n Redmi Phones was its UI..i have used Moto Phones too.. Software Exp was not at all that Great(MiUi)...Lots of Bloatware, Lack of Fluidity within UI..It was not Cleaner..thats why Consumers/Users will still remember Mi A series with Clean Os & i can Still bet if they can Lauch A Series with btr Focus n Optimization with Proper Updates it will Sell more than any Redmi devices..🙃 Just to Conclude to Redmi/Xiaomi..UI-Os optimization needs a major Change now goin frwd..with lighter n Cleaner UI Xperience & Importantly not to just to go on Nos. like 200mp or 120W FC...64mp Cam or 67W Fc will b more than Enough but then Provide btr Cam Sensor front n Back wid OiS, bigger btry...Btr SoC..well Optimized Phone Overall..Really liked the Way Mr. Anuj accpeted their mistake & Overall Conversation was done & I agree Note 11 series was not that good n was Confusing. i would suggest Rather than widening the Note Portfolio, Focus shud be giving less Products but great Products & Timely Software Updates.. a VFM device >> 🙂
It was a great video Ranjit sir, honestly never expected such a collab considering how stingy once mi used to be but it turned out to be great collab and was very informative in regards to why mid range has gone up. Super excited about OIS, maybe if Xiaomi is reading this i request you to put in the mi dialer which supported call recording i really miss this feature.
I totally agree with him... The brands that doesn't bundle a charger in the box has a customer base who don't care whether the charger is bundled or not...
MIUI 13 needs to be updated. I'm using Redmi Note 11 and it has two major issues - 1.Screen flickering - you can easily notice it when you look carefully and it happens all the time. 2. lag while using picture in picture mode . Xiaomi fix this
Xiaomi needs to fix their software.. my poco X3's front camera and Bluetooth is not working for more than a month.. i really loved the phone.. but both are very important to me..i can't use a phone without them..!
A few things Xiaomi should do: 1) Stop copying Apple. 2) Upgrade its software update policy. 3) Stop putting ads in the UI. 4) Stop flooding the market with unnecessary redundant phones!
Please do a similar video with Poco head and ask him why there are no updates for their Current Flagship Poco F4 since August, the current security patch is from August 2022
i have not a problem with security updates, but my mom's poco x3 sound IC had problems, then front camera not working.. i know on f4 they r giving 2 yrs of warranty, but t&c for that warranty will be too rubbish, they might not accept phone even have minor dents
Commenting this from my fantastic Note 5 pro. What a lovely phone this has been for me for me! It's time for an upgrade and i think I'll wait for the upcoming one. PS: I also have a Note 4g that still works. My wife has a Note 6 Pro.
@@Jisooya_jichuuya a product never meant for poor or rich,it is for conditional needs, rich people also can buy a A series phone as a secondary device along with their iphones, get yourself educated first..
@Jisoooya 👑 Can easily purchase an iPhone but cannot justify the price for it. I have used Mi A2 and that was the best phone among all I have used (only battery was bad). For the 2.5 years I used it, software never caused any issue at all. The same does not apply to even the expensive phones today. Just keep the same software & bump up the hardware for the pro variant, and that will be amazing!
Ranjit sir, I have a simple question. I believe that the majority of Chinese brands have their specifications designed and finalised by their Chinese employees. Since we have a CMO or CEO in India for the Chinese brands, do they only do the marketing and sales part? Or do they also have a role to play in terms of a phone's specs and design?
Geeky Ranjit Paid Nowadays, he also did the last video with Redmi India CEO AND also he agreed with all of there things and didn't even tell that your Software is making users suffer the most and etc etc....and now this Xiaomi (Chaatugiri)
Why not democratization in the slim design like 11 lite NE,across all models.pls comeout with front camera in the top left corner rather in the centre which is very distractive.i hope next slim phone will have pretty round edges, with in display finger print sensor.with compact design.
Time 16 mins, do we have common charger , and the one who doesnot give charger should not mention that use our charger only. Ot should accommodate any other company charger
My POCO X3, a few months ago; just got f'd up out of nowhere after an update. I think this is where, Xiaomi/POCO lost many valued customers after such buggy updates. Personal opinion.
Software and Security updates is very bad in Xiaomi phones. I am using their Flagship Xiaomi 12 pro mobile which is still running in Android 12 and September 2022 security patch. Lots of improvement is required in providing timely security updates
Xiaomi really needs to fix all glitches, flickering issue and bugs in all of their devices. My Redmi Note 10 pro motherboard got damaged because of an update of MIUI 13 my whole data was wiped in an instant. That's the reason purchasing xiaomi devices is scary since any update can ruin a perfectly working smartphone.
Bro im extremely sorry, i lost hope on xiaomi my poco x3 pro got dead 4 months ago.., very bad experience. Even i used warranty and got replaced with same new x3 pro.., it is also got dead… pls fix this as soon as possible xiaomi Poco 😢
Hey Ranjit, if you read this comment, could you help me if possible. My Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which I bought in July 2021, post a software update, has now apparently a dead motherboard according to the service centre. They are quoting me 12k for the 18k phone. It has barely been 1.5 yrs old and I am not sure what to do. I am not giving them 12k for their mistake and not getting any positive reply on twitter also from them.
Hi Ranjit. Great to see u in Bangalore. It would be a dream come true if you could do a meet and greet when you travel outside Hyderabad or even outside Telangana.
Ranjit sorry about going offtopic but I had a problem which i think you are quite aware of. Its about the POCOX3 and POCOX3 pro getting dead after the MIUI13 update. I myself have faced this today. My 2yr old POCO x3 had boot loop issues in oct after the update and yesterday it went completely dead. My visit to service center was worthless as their response was simple the phone is out of warranty and we can't do anything about it. Pay 80% of the value to repair the motherboard else throw it away. I need to ask is it our fault that the phone died after the update.??..Why aren't they providing any assistance to the user when they are the one at fault??... Sorry but after this incident not buying any Xiaomi products from now on.
I am using redmi note 10 pro since a year and I can say it's camera is not at all good + device is getting overheat while charging+ with 33 w charge which is bundled with the phn it takes around 2 or more than 2:30 hours in charging.
hello sir i have a serious concern been using poco x3 pro for more than 1 year. today my phone suddenly switched off and its not turning on again. I heard that they are charging thousands of rupee to fix the mother board sir please guide me what should i do i am in college submitted lakhs of fees and now phone is dead, i am too stressed right now
@@free_soul9154 i have used note 4 about 4 years it worked pretty fine my father is using note 5 till now it got slow but does the job my mom is using note 7 my experience with mi was pretty good but have you ever seen phone suddenly getting bricked, now xiaomi phones are not good as they were earlier and the thing u said about samsung and iphone, look everyone dont have that much money to buy iphone and not everyone need that much specs. everyone has own budget it might be joke for you cause you are rich you can change phone whenever you want but i can't
@@atulgupta7104 i heard about that after doing some research on internet so i will bring my phone to the service center i hope they do something about it
@@ayush_singhhh__ yes, everyone doesn't have enough money. But Samsung phones are available from 12 thousands, which is not expensive at all. Price is similar to Chinese phones. There is literally no need to even look at Chinese phones anymore. Moreover these Samsung phones are made in India. Also, Chinese phones steal our private data. On the other side, China keeps attacking India everyday. Why give money to our biggest enemy??
Anuj said that the upcoming version is going to be a lot cleaner and faster, so I am also keeping my fingers crossed for that, hopefully we get it soon.
Very informative 👍 do you think mi took Indian market seriously!!!! Pricing is little bit high than other smartphone... Not many handset available in Indian market after they launched poco 😁😁
I was a huge Xiaomi fan so ,I bought Xiaomi 11 lite 1.2 years ,after the warranty period is over the phone started showing many problems like fingerprint is not working, display black crash issue speaker not working and power button is also not working now I hate this phone and whole company what their team is doing giving cheap quality products to the customer
Yes the same issue is with me. Black crush is most noticeable while playing OTT content in Netflix, Prime, Hotstar etc. Very annoying but I don't think it will be fixed now. Sad Truth..😓
@@ViSHALSAKANi I think it is kind of software issue, must be some HDR tuning or may be Dolby Vision tuning. Because on RU-vid it doesn't happen. I don't think it's a hardware issue. Or maybe all displays manufactured for this model are like that. Anything could be it is..
hi sir i like your videos but where is the topic of software updates man, that's where it lags whole Xiaomi lags in software updates, bummer just about their products and making some marketing statementsb
Going forward if there would be more interviews please consider interupring the guest less. You might be right in the point you want to put across, but it's quite distracting for the viewer.
