So excited for this series! Love your music selections for this video - adventurous and bold! And love the new music during the dinner photos - classy and sophisticated! I am definitely liking the feel of the stress-free river cruise vibe. And your dinner looked and sounded amazing. So exciting overall - been anticipating your River cruise 🤗 Can’t wait to see more! ❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic coverage. Can’t believe the folks of EECC Travels are also there. Now I will see two points of view. That vending machine restaurant reminded me of the old Horn and Hardarts. Looking forward to the next videos.
This cruise line looks amazing we were on Viking in July but seems like you had better entertainment! Do they have tables for two in the dining room? Thanks
Wow, so cool it is nothing like what I thought. It doesn’t seem like it’s boring at all. Looks like I’ve added something else to my bucket list. I’m interested in seeing how the two places in one day works.
We just found you a week or so ago and have enjoyed your site and commentary. It was fun revisiting places we have been through your lens. Long time followers of Jason and Alisa so was pleasantly surprised to see both of you on same cruise. Can’t wait to compare vids!!!
Awesome to see your walk through Amsterdam. I was fortunate enough to spend a day there recently. Your video brought back some wonderful memories. Hope you both enjoy the river cruise...it's very high on my list of "must do" itineraries. Cheers! 😁👍
Have you tried TUI River cruises? It looks like they’re out of England but sail down through the UK. I’ve seen a few vlogs but I am curious since was your first River cruise
Also tip for the smaller “stroopwafels” but them over your warm cup of coffee or tea for a couple of minutes and then eat them, the caramel inside will have melted just enough to make them extra delicious
I stayed in Amsterdam for 5 days then boarded a Viking river boat down the Rhine last March. My 1st river cruise! It was really amazing, fantastic, food, awesome tours, and one of the best adventures of my life! I hope you have the same amazing wonderful experience! But I still prefer large sailing ships 😊
Hi. Found your vlogs because I follow EEEC travels and Ben and David. Not sure if I saw you on other vlogs. Love to see how you walked through Amsterdam. It’s great to see my home country through vlogger eyes. I’m not living in Amsterdam, but my son is, although not in the center of the city, so I know the town pretty good. I’ve seen the videos from EEEC travels till Brussel, so I have to catch up with yours. Looking forward to them.
Two things: If you ever go to a Halloween party with Jason, PLEASE go as Frodo and Gandolf. I was watching the guitar player thinking, "PLEASE sing Sweet Caroline." His set was over and I was bummed but then the piano player started up and Yesss!! He came through!! I'm excited for this series!
I ran into the bath cloth problem while in Europe as well. Hotel receptionist was so baffled I was asking for a wash cloth. How do Europeans wash their bodies especially at hotels.
I'd forgotten that was a thing until the first time stayed on land in England. From there, I'm always surprised when I *do* get a washcloth on a European cruise or in a hotel, ha ha... :P ~Jay
The pasta in the consommé is really a piece of crepe. Crepes, as they are neutral, are often eaten with savoury accompaniments in Europe. I grew up in Germany, just outside Basel, Switzerland. A very common type of soup there is Flädlesuppe (a beef consommé with thin strips of crepes).
I goofed and we ended up staying in Utrecht which was definitely not near Amsterdam! It was a very expensive cab ride but when we wised up and took the train from Utrecht to Rotterdam for Norwegian Fjords cruise then back to Amsterdam after the cruise and then to the airport, it was very reasonable and very handy!
It's from Amazon and we have it our shop. It can be found at www.parodeejay.com/amazon It's great it has not tarnished at all and I basically wear it everyday haha.
