I’m currently a Flight Attendant for United Airlines, and I was previously a Travel Agent; brother wants to become a Travel Agent, and so I’m helping him learn Amadeus before he gets the job at his preferred company (company requires Travel Agents to know the basics of Amadeus). Just saying that this video helped him a lot, and helped me quite a bit to give a refresher. Keep on doing what you’re doing big man; love it!
I am also trying to find a job as a flight attendant, but the jobs that are available right now are travel agents and I have to learn this program. It has definitely helped me out a lot too. Good luck to your brother. And you area awesome sister for helping him.
I just learnt more in this video than 15-25 hrs (total 50 hrs to be completed🤦♀️) in an actual AMADEUS course for flight attendants in Spain. Thanks everything makes alot more sense now🙌

I received a job offer last week which thankfully does not start until early Sept so as far as GDS is concerned I have to go back to school. GDS looked so different years ago as I used to use this system, Worldspan & Sabre. Your tutorial makes everything so clear & wonderfully explained. Oddly enough when I started out in the travel trade in the 90's I started with booking flight only. From an old travel hack. Thankyou!

This has helped me alot. Alot of companies don't wanna train Amadeus. You would be great for that. However you are great right now. We need to get your numbers up on views so you can make a living of this. If people make money on RU-vid just for eating. You should become more successful then that. Chris thank you. this would've been helpful in 2015 when I worked for a flight company haha. oh boi, this is SO nostalgic for me. i loved working with amadeus, it somehow felt "natural" to me, but I know that others had huge issues understanding what we are even doing. it's nice to see though that people still find this useful and that amadeus is still around :D
I am preparing for my training as a travel agent in a company and this helps me get an introduction to amadeus(the tool we're going to use). I only have a headache for all the codes that needs to be put as well as codes of the cities😭

Congrats on the new position! When I originally made this video, I made it with the intent of attaching it to some resumes and help me with my own job search. As a bonus, I really got a good understanding of using the program to make sure the video was accurate and so I could go back and reference myself if needed. I ended up never working in the travel industry and all the things I learned about the system kinda have faded away from my memory, especially since I have not had any access to the system. I am VERY happy that this video has found people like you who were able to find it helpful! Thanks for the comment, and rock on.
I created a second software for an agency that actually generates the commands for them. for example, they ask the client about their name, destination, departure, date of return etc.. then the software shows you what to type in Amadeus, it is very useful.

Hi Ben, I'm sorry I had access only during a short time through the class I was attending. Even the student mode version I was accessing was highly regulated and only available to travel industry professionals, and I haven't had access since. I ended up working in a field. I believe the site for the training for Amadeus was Amadeus University that was found at aeuniversity.com but it seems to have moved. When typing FXX to see the fare and the amount of luggage, for example, does this (FXX) also automatically rebook you to the cheapest flight like FXB does?
