Did you come to that conclusion after watching clips of his best moments? What about the stuff that hasn't made the cut? Who is benefiting from this? Everton? Agents? Are you certain you really know the player?
@@kingkenzokwansa yes I have watched him play live, not only his highlights. He is not as bad on the ball as people make it seem. And most importantly he’s very tall, strong, physical and fast. Those are the things you can not teach. Btw I’m a Barca fan and would love him to be paired up with Frenkie who is already one of our most technical midfielders. He needs someone like Onana playing beside him to help him out defensively.
@@anthrax6835nope. Arteta will play 3 at the back with onana and rice in midfield allowing for an extra creative midfielder to play alongside odegaard in those low bloc games.
He’s probably busy trying to get nketiah to sign yet another new deal just in case he comes good! 🤣 onana and rice would be amazing and certainly would fuck Rodri up when we face city but we all know Arsenal won’t get this guy as it’s common sense.
His only weak point from this video is defensive positional discipline. #5 has a similar weakness too but doesn’t have the legs to make up for it anymore. Onana has got the legs. I wouldn’t be upset at all if Arsenal bring him in.
My opinion......We get Onana for £50m to play as our number 6 and unleash Declan Rice for the number 8 position. Then try Musiala for £100m and the wide forward, right and left wing, attacking midfield, left sided number 8 and even false 9 all covered. While also still allowing Kai Havertz to play as the starting number 9. Wait till next summer and go get Sesko. Get Jarrol Hato for the left back/left CB. Raya White - Saliba - Gabriel Onana - Rice Saka-Ordegaard-Musiala- Marinelli Havertz. Subs. Timber, Hato, Tomiyasu.Kiwior, Jorginho, Viera, Nwaneri , Trossard, Jesus.
6'5?! He's a giant, and very strong. Edu and Arteta are building a massive team both figuratively and literally. I can see why he's so good defensively as well, long ass legs that are impossible to get around.
@@madibanegus4191 It’s not necessarily about better or worse. It’s about the right fit. We are trying to find an extremely rare profile to replace Partey in the long term. Partey is basically a Cam who has the physical capability to play 6. His progressive passing and tech ability is what we will miss. I see Onana as more of a Rice profile. Can he help us break down a low block or control the tempo of a match?? Fofana has some of the best progressive passing stats in Europe. Don’t get me wrong Onana is incredible and I would happily take him but if you asked me to choose…
His major strength is breaking up play, and for him to PERFECTLY fit into our Arsenal team, he needs to learn to conduct/dictate the tempo from deep. Either way, he'd be good along side D.R in our midfield.
These clips show his defensive work and passing. I don't think anyone creates a video to show ' conducting or dictating' play, but Onana is very good in dictating play in fact he is very good in both 1st and 2nd build up phases of play. It's only that videos don't show that. Just watch a full Belgium or Everton game.
