In Dhundad region which , Mahipal sir mentioned in video, in ancient times there was Matsya Mahajanpad, and Meena word came from Meen(Fish), if you know some basic Hindi, and Meenas consider themselves descendents of Minesh(A son of Fish and Lord Hanuman by sweat pregnancy, when he was returning from Lanka after burning it). Meenas were ruling tribe in Matsya Mahajanpad area from long time till early 11-12th century when Rajputs came into dominance. After that Meenas started indulging into Criminal activities, and that's why Britishers declared them Criminal Tribe. Matsya and Meen both are Hindi Synonyms of Machali(Fish). And Today also Meenas has majority in this area and large land holding.

Bro the issue here is that the Meena people view themselves as either seperate from Hindu (highly unlikely but considering the politicisation of Hinduism, is possible) or view themselves as a "different sect" of Hinduism. And in their eyes, one group of Hindus is trying to assimilate them, therefore destroying their unique identity. I am from Arunachal and therefore have no cultural link to the Vedic culture and Vedas from which the religion that we now call Hinduism was born. But from my outsiders perspective, Hindutva followers have a tendency to "try and homogenize" the native Indian religions, even those who have no Vedic origins (like the religion of my tribe, Donyi Polo). Temples were never part of Donyi Polo, but because of Hindutva, people have began to form temple like buildings. Not saying that this is bad per se, but this is seen as an attempt to slowly erode one's native cultural identity and be assimilated into Hindutva, which is not appreciated by everyone.

Both BJP and Congress doing politics, otherwise such incidents of random flag hosting and claiming the area of heritage should be a criminal offence. Hence if Idols of Amma Mata are removed to make it Ambika Mandir then those Brahmins should be severally punished and if it's the Meena community doing things to disturb the harmony then they should also be dealt with heavy hands.
