Naples is cheaper for shoes, handbags and some other goods, look in the Spaccanapoli area. There’s a big market there, lots of bargains. There are a lot of cafes/restaurants in Sorrento for inexpensive meals and snacks, you just need to look for them. I was there 2 weeks ago and I’m going back next for the 4th time.
