Hailing from Southern California, Amanda Baron has emerged as a growing force within the Melodic Techno and Progressive House genres. With an ability to sculpt a unique sound from an ever-evolving musical landscape, the US artist has risen to prominence through a nascent production career that has seen releases on Cary Crank's Sunexplosion and the ever-reliable Deep Tales in the early part of 2024. Now making her Perspectives Digital debut, "Body and Mind" opens with a hefty beat, brooding low end groove, and ticking hi-hat combination. Building with a dark energy, further bassline verve is supplied alongside a laser-edged synth lead that filters to prominence with a hands-in-the-air moment at the breakdown crescendo. Dropping back into its immaculate groove in the second half, a whispered spoken sample adds to the vitality and brio as melody and bass continue to provide spine-tingling emotion.
