I'm in agreement with Ben. Remaking RE5 would make for a great excuse to excise all the problematic aspects of the original game's story. It shows that Capcom acknowledges the issues openly, learned from it, and addressed it accordingly. The only tradeoff is enduring a dozen chuds crying "woke!" in response to the remake.

The problem with RE5 is that the depiction of zombies in it is very reminicent of the problematic depiction of black people in media throughout the last century in general. Bringing RE4 into it is kinda weird, and it's depiction of spain is problematic in itself cause you're going to be hard pressed to find a village like that in Spain, a member of the European Union during the time the game is set in, and standards of mandatory education for every child at a level at least on par, with any part of north america and, most probably higher than, the US. Some people, not me, would say that's fine though because Spain was one of the largest colonialising forces on the planet.

So in the video they are making her say Bael, Bael, Bael, Paimon, Paimon, Paimon, Balam, Balam, Balam. So yeah, the studio was probably the front for a cult. But there is probably a lot of context I'm missing out. The first video shows a girl dissapearing (Lauren) when she is watching the show (there is bit of a shadow in the window but it might be the parents leaving the house). The video with Rebecca signing papers is probably just to set a timeline, probably his father Samuel was already abducted and the studio was "adopting" her. So, the studio is call Hameln and it has a mouse as a logo, obvious reference to the Pied Piper who kidnapped children. Kate is probably with the cult too... local librarian my ass, that's always a flag. And Samuel said someone approached him with the idea to make the show into a cartoon, so that's probably when the studio was bought by Hameln.
