Amanda the adventurer actually being a adult horror cartoon actually has some potencial! This didn't have much horror in it, but it could be like the game where the episodes become more and more creepy as you go along!

This makes the game a little sad, knowing that the Amanda the Adventure cartoon in-universe started as a really sweet, beloved show for kids. It could have been this chill and cute, but instead it got bastardized by an evil corporation and their totally legal practices.

I like how this storyboard shows the mix of how Amanda is wholesome to Wooly and the glitching to her like the Apple Pie Cartoon in the game. It really brings a good look of how Amanda was before she got crazy. Nice job Jake!

This oozes that children’s show charm, while it never really loses that edge of horror that comes with Amanda the Adventurer. How when Wooly is spooked, he breaks character a little, the VHS grain, the occasional cuts to Wooly’s POV, it all adds up to an experience that’s just a little unsettling, and it’s perfect.

Considering that even after Amanda was rebooted as a animated show by Hameln the first episodes were still normal, I like to think this is a episode of that time, since there's nothing actually weird or cryptical, it's just a normal kid TV episode

I know I’m 2 months late into this, but this “episode” is a really good concept towards the real game. It really portrays the actual reality of how the show was originally gonna be. I feel as if this episode would’ve been before all of the demonic things before the actual stuff start to happen. Although its a really good animatic! ❤

The reason (lore wise) that there are no horror elements is most likely because this is a pitch for the episode it represents what the episode is supposed to be like. In the finished product they put cursed demon stuff in and screw Amanda up. 0:09

What a nice game of hide and seek and I love all the styles also really like how this is unfinished it makes it more unique and good also another thing i just notice is that grandma is making a pie for both of them at the end and they said their goobyes for now but isnt the first episode about making a pie? So it connects which is cool ❤
