Baddy, I agree with some of the things you said but this is such an incomplete review. For example, no mention of GV’s score or the impressive debut by the cinematographer, CH Sai. I felt this is as perfect an army movie as one can get mixing both perspectives equally.
Dear Kamal Hasan: You can be a Walt Disney to Indian / Tamil Cinema if you focus more on what you know more. Please produce more meaningful content working with all the ruling governments. Be a creator till you're called back by your creator.
Sir.. Is it possible to interview Indu Rebeka Vargees Now that the film is released we're curious to know what she felt about the movie Especially the way her and Mukund characters have been portrayed in the movie Hope you will..
Easily the best movie of on Kashmir since probably Roja. So well written. There are scenes where I was mererly present but the inner engine of emotions overworked and tears were flowing out automatically. Sivakarthikeyen scales new heights from the word get go. Kudos to the director and the behind the scenes team. Everyone in the movie hall were sniffling as though they had a runny nose and I dreaded the moment the lights came back on before I could find the tissues. Ah well, everyone was going through the same emotions. Everyone stood and applauded the movie (and left the popcorn garbage under their seats)
Thanks BR! That was a very useful review - espcecially how you ended with an apt comment about 'grown up' movie making. I really was getting worked up seeing chilidish, insensitive and laughable movies with contrived mass moments targetted at an assumed audience with low IQ. We are better off educating such film makers - this includes childish lyrics in songs and inane/vulgar writings. I hope you can start commenting on those too
I being an Ex-service man's son didnt mind to invest my full concentration on the Movie and completely ok with some repetetions, But for all generations at year 2024 , The Editing part could have been concentrated more , certain things could been a quick timelapse. Whereas some parts could have had bettery breathing space, cannot compare Major Movie, But the editing sequence was slightly convincing. But as BR said , there was a balance in Relationship and Profession part with humongous acting pillars here. Me the "ANIL" slowly becoming a "SKANIL" , as My Man is saying Babye already. Hope SK maintains this balance as both entertainer and performer to lead the Actors club of K-wood.

@ trust me I wouldn’t have sat through if it were on the tv/ott. Because the film doesn’t offer anything new. It’s very similar to Major. Generic movie to be precise, just like how baddy says .. and I felt sivakarthikeyan could have performed better.
@@Saialluri7854 if you can't see the lightness of SK during college days , introducing his lover to family etc then maybe u have seen a diff version of the movie... Above all this is a real man's story so u can't add masala to make it entertaining.. unfortunate ppl don't understand simple basic things
@@abinaya.23 maybe not SK’s fault, director could have asked for retakes or made him perform better. I hope you noticed how they kill everyone in one shot and when it comes to the antagonist, they take the liberty and try to fight with bare hands and later kill him. When directors can make such choices, they can also try and make it less generic. All I’m saying is when you know what’s gonna happen in the end, then there has to be extraordinary stuff to keep us engaged. That’s all:)
