First I see or hear of this band. . . Interesting. 14 mins in - Great concept to have the 3 vocalists .. a lil bit of everything. Honestly .. speaking for myself, if it was just ONE of any of the 3 for an entire set, it wouldn't have the same appeal. Great presence, pro band.
Same, first time I ever hear or see them and I was blown away. A lot of great musicianship. The mix of vocals styles made it cool and the riffs were on point!
Oh man them and Dragonforce regularly egging crowds on to boo another state has been hilarious. I saw them in Baltimore and for us they said, "North Carolina says YOU SUCK! What do you say to that?"
When they come to Arizona they said we were crazier, and louder than California. Wait a minute, this is California's show, and they went to Arizona first.
@@YoursTrulyThe1Pony They were definitely, I'm sure in their own words, are "trolling." 😄 For the entire time I've lived in Maryland I have never heard of a rivalry or beef with North Carolina...or any other state really.
I’m into genre mixing and I think they have their own style that they own, but true not for everyone. I enjoyed the guttural singing - it gave it that rough edge vibe
Dont agree, its this setup that makes them uniqe, and I think they leveld up when Nils joined, he are are more dynamic then the previous male clear vocal. Can recoment when they play "82 all the way" live with sabaton
After getting used to sing with the band, it's safe to say that Mikael is a beast! Doesn't have that "raw and feral" appeal like GG6, but has a huge amount of solid talent and is more versatile (his Devin Townsend-like part on Damnation Flame confirms it), having his own style and using the best of it with confidence. Hope to see them live someday. Also, if I'm not tripping, I think I saw a recent video on Facebook Stories of the band playing BOOM!1 live. Did it really happen or is my mind playing tricks? 🥲
