ये एपिसोड मैने शायद तीस पैतीस साल पहले देखा होगा,ऊस समय मुझे ये समझ नहीं आया। इसमें जिन्होंने भूमिकाएं की है वो बड़े ही टैलेंटेड एक्टर्स है। एपिसोड के आखिर तुलसी के पत्ते खाकर भी दोनों खुश हो जाते है, ये एक बहुत ही सकारात्मक सोच और रवय्या है। बहुत ही ऊंचे दर्जे की सीरियल थी। आज भी याद आती है।
26-27 साल की पुरानी यादें ताजा हो जाती है। मालगुड़ी डेज ,अमरावती की कथाएँ , जैसे सिरियल देख कर। लगता है। जैसे अभी कुछ रोज पहले की बात होगी। अफसोस है। 26 -27 साल बीत चुके है। अपलोड करने वालो को दिल से अभिनन्दन है।
बहुत ही अच्छी कहानी हैं, तब भी एक ऐसा दौर था जब खाने को साधे दाल चावल नसीब नहीं होते थे गरीबी के कारण उन लोगों के लिए एक कठिन परिक्षा थीं, जब ये पटकथा हम देखते हैं तो बरसों साल पीछे के जीवन की हमे याद आती है, nice story 👍
आज से लगभग 24 साल पहले मैंने यह धारावाहिक DD national पर देखा था,तब मेरी उम्र 10 वर्ष की थी,तब भी मैं बहुत भाउक हुआ था , और आज भी, बहुत वर्षों की खोज के बाद आज ये धारावाहिक मिला, बेहतरीन अदाकारी वा निर्देशन
This episode has so much to learn from. Those couple are so much of evolved souls that they never let their emotions ever tarnish the faith on the god. All through out I was wondering how happy and fortunate these people are born to be serving that god are. True devotees of Sree Venu Gopala Swamy. This was the hard hitting episode even the first time I saw as a Kid in 93 and now seeing as a 44 year old teaches a lot again inherently and silently. This is what that almighty teaches. To be unconditionally happy in all times as happiness must not be tied to any materialistic thing. Just take the name of the lord 'Jai Sree Venu Gopala Swamy' and you'll get the bliss automatically like this blessed couple get at the end. Happiness for them and happy tears for us. Jai Shree Rama ! Jai Shree Krishna ! Om Namah Sivay ! Blessed to be born as a Hindu..Shath naman.
I agree with you. I still remember this episode for that reason. Very heart touching episode. The brahman and his wife get nothing out of their devotion but still are devoted. I still remember this episode. It came in my childhood.

This is the original picture of a Brahmin. During the lockdown days, I lost my job as a lecturer in a college. I, therefore, returned my village and became depressed. Luckily, the priest of the local temple had fever and was diagnosed as covid positive. I was given the task of the priest, I thought that it will be a wanderful career and found the same fate!!! Now I am jobless again, may Venugopala heal my pain as well, may he feed me, my family and everyone of his starving universe!!!

But always considerd rich..Krishna's friend Sudama's story was same- Garib Brahmin. Sirf vedic knowledge hai kuch brahmins ke pass jisse vo society mai ji paye. Bhagwan mai vishwas hamesha rehta hai humara , chahe kuch bhi hojaye.. I as a brahmin respect all castes . My great grand father ,grand father had done so much for the society -gave free education to children, helped people in need And i will continue that.
priyanka k why are you so personal with a particular caste?? And what do think learining puranas vedas and mantras is very easy why dont you try and read a single line from vishnu shashrnam or any part of vedas. Just search it on internet and try to read it ...and imagine they have to learn everything

When I was in 7th standard 1993 . This serial sired in Doordarshan. Very nice and humerous stories these sre. Like Malgudi days Amaravati also very fame in that time. Thanku very much for upload this on RU-vid.

Tabhi aaj bhi RU-vid pr search kr k dhund kr dekhte h. Pity on today tv series and web series where they no know simplicity of life. I will never keep television in my home. Itni achhi likhi huyi kahaniyo ko parde par darshane ke liye kisi genius ki zaroorat hoti hai. Shyam Benegal Sir did a marvelous job to portray them with such conviction keeping the innocence of the characters intact. Anurag Basu too did a fantastic job at directing Stories by Rabindranath Tagore which aired on Epic channel. Along with the director, impeccable performance by the actors like Raghuveer Yadav, Vallabh Vyas, Virendra Saxena and many more has made this program indelible since our childhood. Moreover we should not forget the background music, created through mridangam, veena, shehnai(may be), which is quite classic in its own way.
very touching story, rich collection of stories by Sankaramanchi. One can see Shyam Benegal's brilliance, makes you feel that you are living among the characters. Laughter in the end symbolized(for me) that the couple remained undefeated. Great work by entire team. RIP Shri Vyasji.
Heart touching story. Fantastic direction and actors also. In those days and in encient time brahmins are always poor and satisfactory with as gods or nature gives. Many scientists philospers came from these poor families.Nice to such stories thanks provideo... Now at very temples real brahmins are not remained. At many places all caste prayers are increasing to worship god as poojari so compitition increases a lot.
i will give you a reason why brahmins were philosphers in those times and its a simple one. they never let anyone study vedas.PERIOD. i dont have disrespect for them. a poor brahmin is STILL A BRAHMIN treated with respect.... whereas a rich lower caste guy is STILL LOWERCASTE treated with hatred. BTW i agree a great tv series.
@@nikhilpratap5 okay dumbo then how did Ved Vyas study Vedas and became a Brahmin? There was only Varna system but dumbos like you hae only crammed British books and learned nothing.
Most brahmin families in 80s 90s suffered situations like this. I have been through it as well. Anyways, thanks to Ishwar that we came out strong and compassionate.

The moral may be, have patience in life being together in bad times of life. More so I found this called as well cultured wife who is power of her husband. Her wife didn't left him in bad times, and just supporting. This makes heart & mind both peaceful & joyful.

Rip Shri Vallabh Vyasji, very few people know that vyasji had a paralysis attack in 2008, and none from the tv and film industry helped him out, only to suffice a very small amount of ₹10,000 which his family refused, and he was later helped by Mr Amir Khan and Manoj Bajpai , he died in 2018. Rip, what a great actor, an outstanding person, and humble human being.
It's really heart touching, there lots of pain behind the laughter. How the Brahmin couples spent the whole day with tulsi Tambulam. Hungry has the power which lead us to achieve many things in life. Every creatures surviving because of hungry, this is the only reason to get something in life ( food,work, shelter,busy life...... everything). Hungry.... hungry.... hungry.
No doubt heart touching story. ..we shed tears n pray to GOD that this should nt happen to any 1. ..d age old approach. ..bt we nvr learn how to look for solution. ..lifestyle has changed nwadays. ..for example d lady tribal singer roaming hopelessly ....once rich ppl were patron for her talent. ..bt in today's world her market value is ngtv. ..her talent can't fetch her meals ...same is with priest. ..ppl worship GOD out of fear nd not for respect....the priest is nt clever 1. .he does nt know how to market his skill. .he depends on venugopal. .nd take it as venugopal's wish. ..I think we Indian should learn how to solve problems. ..should look for solutions. ..shedding tears n taking it as GOD,'s wish. ..wl not fetch anything except misery. ..I m sympathetic for priest that he does not hv marketing skill. ...the life style or values shown here hv lost its value. ..we r passing thru changing phase. ..nd many of us wl suffer coz we hv nt updated ourselves. ..most importantly our education system does teach us how to overcome our problems. ..in schools most of the lessons taught r useless n time wasting. ...we hv to be practical.....only emotions can't feed ur stomach. ...

भगवान हर जगह है । उन लोगो मे भी है जो कि किसी दूसरी जाति से नफरत करते है क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि उनके पूर्वजो पर उस जाती के लोगो ने काफी अत्याचार किया है।
