Putting in strength and triangulation, always good. Thanks both for continuing an excellent series.

I will gain some real strength when I add my front garage door post. I will be able to put a cross support on them too. More to come.

There is no way I would start a job like this without her. She is the best. She is also the camera operator, so the camera work is not as good when she is working. LOL!

I didn’t know work platforms like that existed. I guess it’s the same ones used with telehandlers. Very cool. Found a small one on titan for 350.

I would have got the smaller one if it was not for this bigger job. After I get done with it, I may sell it and get the smaller one.

Sure is nice to have an operator on the job isn't it !!?? The Missus used to help me on ALL projects. Now, not so much, but when I really need her, she's there. Your shed is coming right along my friend.

Tanja is coming along nicely with the tractors considering she did not grow up around them. She started messing with them about 2 years ago. It is nice to have someone I trust behind the wheel.

Gona be nice when you get it done. That nail gun. When I was driving Semi, I picked up a item that need boards to hold it down. I got to my destination to unload. The guy had put so many nails in I could'nt get the board off. It was my last load so left it went home. Next day went out to work on it. This 2 foot 2x4 had 17 nails in it. It took forever getting that off, because semi trailer floors are hard wood. I almost called the company to complain. But I didn't. So now I think of that when I here nail guns going off. Sorry I rambled. I need to vent on someone. Thanks for sharing, and listening Tony Iowa is watching 21 degs. this morning

Gene, I know what you are talking about. I have shipped many things around the world in shipping containers. They nail things to the wood floor. I understand.

Instead of having to hold up the brace at the bottom mark, just put a scrap board there for it to rest on until you can nail it.

Paul, That makes so much sense. It is the little simple things that make a big difference. Thank you for making me think that way. I will use it for sure.

@@TonysTractorAdventure Here's something else that might make installing the purlins easier. Attach the splice board to the lower side of the first purlin where they join before raising it, then just lay the next one on it and screw it down

That is a set of pallet forks and a man basket. We got it from Titian Attachments.

What kind of nailer is that? There is hardly any lag time between shots.
@TonysTractorAdventure
@TonysTractorAdventure 2 года назад
It is a Metabo HTP 21 degree nailer. It will throw do 3" plus nails down. I put a link in the description.
