Hey Serge, glad you did this video, I am trying to do a simple fashion video and have several images of a girl walking in a white studio and cannot figure it out, seems like a very simple thing to do but cannot figure it out. The model is walking side to side or diagonally and want several "clones" of her, she does not even cross herself but cannot figure how to do it properly. Hope that makes sense and wondering if you have any ideas how to do this, seems much easy than cloning... For some reason I always get the aground looking different where I masked her...? You can see the abrupt line of the background division bc it is slightly "darker" on the right side of the model. or the left depending on where I mask... driving me crazy... Basically I want to use the same clip on top of one and have her slightly behind herself with out even crossing the other like the top clip a second or 2 after the same first clip...

Controlled lighting is key for this effect. Try not to rely on window for lighting. Every time the sun goes behind a cloud (or even shifts position in the sky), it will effect your lighting and you will see a difference where the mask is. You could try a higher feather on the mask. 😊 Good luck!
