To a toddler, this dog must have been like something out of their furry Muppet dreams! This is 14-month-old Ely, and he’s meeting Duke, the first dog he’s ever seen in real life.
And bites... and for no reason as well. Its child endangerment. Plain and simple. Aside from the risk to catch diseases and parasites from this thing. No thanks.
Yes, that's the cutest thing. You have the most coolest name like you jumped out of some roman colliseum or some movie 💯 I don't mean to sound cliché but do you get it all the time, have a great day.🦋🌺💝🍏
Its not a toddler, he’s the most adorable baby in the world 🌎 🍼 Edit: Omg tysm for 100 likes, this is the most I had ever gotten Edit: You all really need to criticize Edit: Ik he’s a toddler but he’s so cute just like a baby, you all really need to understand what a joke is
Just beautiful! How delightful..THANK YOU for sharing. What a wonderful moment to capture. Rather amazing how this darling child has responded..so natural. He's a secure & brave little fella.
Family hopefully knew ahead of the introduction that this was a dog that could be trusted with a child. Because…yeahhhhhh, never let your child approach a dog this way, especially if you don’t know the dog. A child innocently reaching their hands out to pet a dog can be threatening to the animal. This is how kids get bit. Always teach your children how to properly behave with animals.
I agree. Some adults need teaching too. The amount of times I've had to tell grownups not to just go straight in and try to stroke my dog without asking me, especially when you can clearly see she's nervous, hiding behind my legs. I say to them that they're asking to be bitten, and if that day ever comes you'd probably blame the dog and not question your behaviour
Yes! I had a huge fluffy & cuddly looking dog who looked so innocent, but he could ( & he did ), remove a stranger’s finger in a blink, without any notice whatsoever.
I saw a 10 month old see a cat for the first time years ago. I just remember the look of joy/wonder on the baby’s face and the look of dread of the cats. But it was ok in the end.
Duke is obedient, gentle, n adorable, what type of dog, is he? Oh the lil boy is cute, n his exploration, excitement, curiosity is adorable, n how he sets boundaries, n bounces as he walks away! Duke should be a therapy dog!!!
