How long would it last with the AOD though? That's a feature I'd like to use all the time would be a great help to know how the battery last then. Would it still be only 2 days even after the update?

Thinking of getting this watch now, before the battery life put me off but with this update i can accept around 7 days, much better than the 18 hours on the Apple watch series & also a hell of a lot cheaper. Finally it would be nice if you could compare the accuracy of the medical functions of this watch as this would be interesting as many smart watches are way off in terms of medical accuracy. keep up the good reviews

Oh can't wait to see this, because if they polished the flaws from before with OTA updates that would make this one worthy option and the incoming GTS2 mini which with the smaller factor and price should be even more interesting.

I have a couple years old Amazfit bip and I'm excited for more health information, music etc. I hope I've made the correct choice of Amazfit watches. Woah! That's quite a massive upgrade going from just 2 days of battery life to 7 days! Thanks for the update, definitely makes the decision making process easier as this watch is about to be released where I am.Super excited. Just one question though. Do these new Amazfit watches sync with Strava? I remember the original Amazfit Pace working on it but than a series of follow up devices weren't supported, so just want to make sure. I love my GTS but was a bit hesitant about upgrading to the GTS 2 given it's reduced battery life, but your excellent updated review has convinced me to go ahead! I am an Apple fan but the short battery life (and cost) of the Apple Watch put me off.
