Thank you for the demonstration. If you had gone all the way to the end of your chain it would have been very tedious and boring. I appreciate that you trust we can figure out how to finish an entire row. I was very anxious once you started to know how to build in the first row. I appreciate that you got right to it. I'm betting you have some great patterns for making a blanketed using this style on your regular website. Thank you again. You made it look simple and easy. I always learn better by watching and seeing - when I have no idea what the instructions mean. And I did notice the numbers at the top to show how many loops, etc.

@@koritaylor1574 You don't need to see the comments to know that. It does show up in the video. Pause at, 15 seconds, 23 seconds, 53 seconds, 103 seconds, and so on. At the top of the video look for the numbers. I know she starts off with ****ch instead of a number, but that's because the chain length is unimportant to this exercise. And that is all it is an exercise. If you get instructions to make a, for example, Tunisian baby blanket, the instructions will be there, as well.

Love this pattern!! Just got stuck on how to continue it through the end. It only explains how to continue going up, but once your crotchet stick is full with the pattern that its showing how do you continue across for the width you want the blanket to be? Am I missing something?

You would use the longer Tunisian hooks that have the cables on the end like knitting needles that have cables on the end for larger items

Im a beginner and your video info said very easy, so i thought it would be worth the try, but it was hard to know what you were doing with out explanation. It wouldve been more helpful if there was talk over or even more writing to explain what you are doing after the first row of loops. Also maybe tips to holding the hook and tension while you are trying to create this... not everyone is just visual so it would help a wider group of people

You need to show us from beginning. I see part of a chain then 2 rows but only half of the chain is used! Very confused.

First she made a chain. Next, she started to make this new style. Rather than bore us to death by going all the way down the chain, once she had made about 6 - she then started a second row so that you can see how to build on the first Tunisian style loops. This is just a demonstration of the crochet style. Its not instructions to make an entire blanket.

@@charricesmith6181 thank you. I had to Google that since I've never heard of them. I looked quick on Amazon and the longest one I found was 47". Does that mean you can only make small blankets? Do the books and cables come longer?

Would be very helpful to have the counts. You can't pause to see detail or count because YT darkens & puts the symbols in the middle when you pause. Pretty pattern.

You can always slow down the playback speed to count them, that’s what I do and it also helps when it’s going a little too fast 🫶

@@wysteriacarlino1302 yeah, also I just tried to do it today, and I don’t know how to keep a whole row together since all the loops have to be on the hook. Did you know how ?

@@lacey1983 No, I wondered about that though. I just figured I'd have to go get a really long hook with a stop end. Haven't tried it yet. Was wondering how I would put panels together too.

This is a beautiful stitch, and I was able make a s small swatch. However, the last end was not finished with knit edging and the beginning was. I tried to make a larger size using cable Tunisian needles with no luck.! Can you please give specific instructions? I would like to make a baby blanket for my newborn niece. Thank you.
