This young man has got "it." "It" is hard to describe-its an energy, a look, a sound, his destiny. He rocked the roof off that place. I don't want to call him a future pop star---I think he is much more talented than that. His take on this classic song was rocking! He's wholesome, still sweet, and has a beautiful smile. Don't change man. Don't change.

A 15 year old young man, walks onto a stage, not just a run of the mill stage mind you, but the stage of BGT where thousands of people are in the audience and four professional, well known judges are watching. He was poised and engaging with Amanda and very likable from the start. He took a difficult song, he made it his own and smashed it out of the park!!! This young man had the audience on their feet. You know it’s good when Simon, who is not really looking at the him at the beginning and then snaps his head around to see what he hears when this young man began to sing. IMHO those few who gave this a dislike, couldn’t get up on this stage and do what this young man did. Just my opinion though.

He's got both the Voice and artistry, plus an incredible charisma. As said, it's one thing to sing well but another thing to be able to hold the audience I. The palm of your hand like that. I reckon he'll be a superstar soon if he forges on the path he's started on.

It’s really beyond ironic that a young British lad attributes this song to the great Nina Simone… When his own countryman, Anthony Newley, that brilliant, brilliant songwriter, showman - what a CONSUMMATE entertainer, eh?! - and singer - from the poorest part of London - E Hackney - a true British American, 🇬🇧 if ever there was one - wrote it. Eh?! 😮. Well. Mystifies me in a lot of ways… But. I guess… That’s life! 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️. All power and thanks to you, incandescent Anthony Newley! Check out his singing on RU-vid, you all. You know how to get the approximate time of when this aired? Amanda's face isn't full of plastic & Simon's eyes haven't been done nor the here & there of fillers. I may be way off but I'd guess James may be 21-23 here in October 2021.

Feeling Good by Nina Simone? I don't think so. She didn't write it. It's Feeling Good by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse from the Broadway musical "The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd".

@@davidtouma4878 No, I hadn't heard/seen that before. She sang quite slowly and "sleepy", plus her accent throws it off a bit IMO. Not very much power and energy, unlike Carly Rose's performance (at just 13 years old). Also, for Note .... Cy Grant performed and recorded the song a little ways before Nina Simone. As well as it being performed on stage by one or more singers, in a musical for which it was written. Title of which is quite long, and I can't recall it now. Yes, I agree Angelina Jordan can sing, but not my cup of tea.

@@aspenrebel I do respect your opinion. Life would be very boring if we all liked the same cup of tea. I have seen the Carly Rose Sonenclar’s performance before. She did a good job however from a technical point of you she was off pitch in several spots. It was a fitting performance for that type of show. As someone who has been involved in music for the last 55 years, I can tell you that it is much more difficult and technically challenging to slow down this song and perform it the way Angelina did. Angelina is Norwegian. She entered Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 and won by a landslide. She was flooded with lucrative offers from major music labels as well as Disney but they were all turned down in order for her to continue her education. Quincy Jones said that he hasn’t seen such talent since Michael Jackson and personally invited her to perform at his 85th birthday celebration in London O2 arena. 15 years old today and recently signed with Republic Records/Universal Music Group as their highest priority new artist.
