Do you feel like having something sweet but don't want to stuff your face with added sugar, artificial sugars or sweeteners? I hear ya, I feel this way sometimes and for this reason I am sharing this amazing and healthy Fruity and Creamy ice cream that is sooooooo delicious and extra nutritious!
INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe papaya
Vegan powdered milk (read the recipe method for quantities)
METHOD:
Peel and seed the papaya, then cut it into cubes.
Distribute the cubbed papaya onto a baking sheet, cover them with a plastic film and freeze them until the cubes are completely frozen, this will take about two hours, depending on how big or small your papaya cubes are cut.
After frozen, add the papaya cubes into a food processor and rapidly pulse it until it resembles shaved ice cream, the add the powdered milk, one tablespoon of powdered milk for each 100g of cubbed papaya, then again, process it fast, so the ice cream doesn't melt.
It is not necessary to add any sugar, however if you feel like it, add powdered ones such as powdered sugar or any powdered sweetener of your choice.
You can also add flavors to it such as chocolate chips, lemon zests, raisins, etc.
