Amazing 4 Year Transformation - Tour our Renovated French Chateau Home 

So casually, "Here is the wallpaper I made. Here are the tiles I created. Etc., etc., etc." Truly blessed. Beautiful work. Love every room.

This was a lovely, bittersweet walk down memory lane. My family and I were incredibly fortunate to be guests in your home about a year ago, and it was wonderful. ❤ My sweet dad unexpectedly passed away on February 4th. Your home will forever hold dear and lasting memories for all of us… it was our last trip together.

In a world where so many tear down old structures to build modern monoliths, what you have done with your French Chateau is perfection! Your family has given so much respect, love, & history to the home, and then given more again by using your talents to make it your own and breathe life back into it in a new century...truly so beautiful and you can really feel all that fullness of life the house holds, even through the muted lenses of a video recording. Astonishing and so well done!

I can't describe how much I love the fact that you are decorating your Chateau with a nod to it's past history while truly making it your own, and not turning it into a historic time capsule as so many other Chateau owners are attempting to do. All Chateaus evolved over the centuries, families adding to them, and redecorating to suit the changing times, so of course it is fitting that your family should do this also. It is a beautiful home & I can't wait to watch the transformation of the Master Suite.

I absolutely love Anna’s decision to furnish with more contemporary furniture. The juxtaposition is so fresh and sophisticated. Many of the other chateau owners have chosen to furnish theirs with the heavy, fussy French furniture. Those pieces look better if they’re paired with the contemporary pieces. Gorgeous!

Absolutely lovely. I often find it tragic to watch what has been done in the interior of the vairous Chateaux in France. But in your case, it is the perfect blend of historical, personal and modern comfort. It's so easy to project yourself living in it and at the same time it keeps all the grandeur of the original.

This is magical. The personal connection with the beautiful mural, linocut wallpapers, tiles makes it feel so connected, but still beautifully fits the French chateau theme as well! So so beautiful

Of all the restorations I have seen recently I think this is my favorite. Mainly because the love and respect for the property and all the lives it’s had, and all the lives it has nourished I’ve been taken into serious consideration with great respect For me that is very important it doesn’t have to be exact. But the closest it is the more grand, it’s almost like a time capsule that takes you back and you can imagine what it must’ve been like to live in those times I think of how many centuries that house stood and how many things it seen how many things the walls have heard and how many little feet have touched the floors It’s so obvious that you’ve put so much love into the restoration. I do believe previous generations, and families would’ve been extremely grateful for the tender care you’ve given and breathing new life into this home.

So humble about what you have achieved. I have to tell you the transformation is stunning. You both turned the chateau into a beauty. So homely so beautiful...

The cool, peaceful atmosphere in all these rooms, with their elegant style, subtle tones and perfect detailing...can never portray the blood sweat and tears you folk have put into them. Even I, who binge-watched all the videos when I first found you, only saw a scant half of the toils and tribulations. But you have achieved so much and thanks to Anna's smile, Philipp's humour, the sweet girls and cheeky pup it was fun too. Congratulations!

You did masterful work! I love you're taking the modern route while staying true to the spirit of the chateau. Authentic renovation doesn't always mean to put the same old (more or less now seen as a bit ugly) colours and designs. You're allowed to feel comfortable in your own home. And you're building something to last what is the most admirable thing to do. Like planting trees, that are not only for you, but for the generations to come. Thank you. I absolutely love how much care Anna and Philip put into restoring the chateau as much as possible. Above and beyond the esthetic, older details were often made to last centuries, which is something you don't find today. The quality and craftsmanship was so much higher then. In fact, even in my humble, little apartment, which hasn't been updated since 1978, my little kitchen has solid maple cabinets-- today? Unless you spent tens of thousands for custom cabinets in maple, you cannot find them now. I think they did a wonderful job and I think they made many wise choices.

This is a dream home! I live in the south of France now, moving to the countryside around Bordeaux next year, I hope to find homes similar to this (on a slightly smaller scale) if I'm lucky! I'm not a fan of super modern designs but adore these homes so much.

The French Castle home has come along nicely. A lot of owner art designs in display of tiles, flooring and painting. The mouldings too, a complete renovation. The entrance gate will be work of art too. Just a beautiful home.

"Four years ago" I began renovating a home I inherited that my Dad, a fairly famous architect, designed and hand-built - and I'm still not done.... I've been following you, inspired by you both - congratulations! If you ever have a free moment and miss picking up a paint brush, stop and by!

I know it's been said time and time again, but you have truly achieved Elegance with a capital E. It's regal, fresh, classic and new but simple, timeless, colourful, while true to the chateau's style! If anything screams of "élégance à la Française" (a term which, as I French, I usually hate), THIS is! Honestly it's almost a crime you haven't moved in those beautiful rooms yet lol. Can't wait for the master suite!

Huge amount of work during these four years and there was the entrance gate as well. And all the work in the garden, amazing, work that you did even after strong winds, I remember. And also, during years, you also received guests, do you imagine ? Oh yes, I am sure. And there are the facades ‘ s renovations. So it was huge indeed. I will not forget these renovations which are going to happen… Meanwhile, enjoy this summer and the fact of being in this Château as well. You largely deserve it. I am very glad for you.
