An 8-year-old who perfectly grasps the true meaning of this song and has the talent to convey it to the listener. More than any singer I've heard before. A great storyteller. She accepts his leaving with dignity, she has no choice, but it hurts. I can feel it. And it's quite extraordinary when you think about it. Damn! She's just a kid!

I listened to several artist sing this song and, I must say, the best version performed is, by far, a 7 year old, Angelina Jordan. She sings with such passion and true connection to the song that you can feel the sadness, pain and inability to truly accept the abandonment of her lover within the song's words.

Because she sings with the tone of someone who has already experienced a hundred lifetimes. Edit: And OMG I just realized that in Angelina's version she leaves out the verse that has "when I grew up" in it. And I'm sure that's no accident. Utterly brilliant.

There are no words to describe what she does here, and she is only 8. It's all instinct, great instinct at that. A unique kind of instinct. According to the Brecht acting method, you are supposed to act completely detached from emotion. This way you allow the text/song lyrics generate emotions within your audience's inner world. She does that here, and to prove this was no accident, she does the same thing 6 years later in her equally unique rendition of the Bohemian Rhapsody.
