When Angelina Jordan (who also has recorded this song at the age of nine, you should really watch her version of it, the black and white video) was on America’s got talent - Champions, she got the golden buzzer. But she had no chance of winning, because she didn’t want to sign with Simon’s record company.

I think it's a blessing for her. She's very young. Child stars more often than not end up with serious drug issues and other problems. Better give the girl a childhood. She can go places in a a few years.

What a sweet, affable, polite, wise, bright, and well-adjusted kid. Her parents must be active in her life for her to be that way and for nurturing her passion. She has talent well beyond her years and with her aforementioned practice ethic there is nothing stopping her from doing whatever she wants musically. Sky's the limit. Wonderful rendition of a great song, so that means she can do waaaay more than "mimic" a song technically, she's also creative which is lost on today's music industry - an industry that creates products in the form of attractive people, buys a song written by someone else, than gives that person singing and dancing lessons.

Certainly Immi would be in the top couple percent of 9 year olds for singing ability. I got spoiled by Angelina Jordan's version of this song when she was also 9 years old. I think it's better they don't win. Winning means you're owned and obligated for a certain amount of albums and shows. I was so glad Doughtry didn't win. They got snatched up and everything was on their terms. Simon was rough on Linsey Sterling and look where she's at. They get exposure to great musicians and probably get calls before they make it home.

When I saw the title of the video say a 9-year-old sings I Put a Spell on You, I immediately thought of Angelina Jordan, who also sang the same song at age 9. That performance was amazing. This performance is very different, like a whole new song with the same lyrics, but it is also very good. Bravo!

Okay, it's been said before, but you can never judge a book by its cover. I did not expect that soulful voice to come out of that little girl in pigtails. I've loved that song since I was a child, and it was an oldie then. To see a 9 YR BRITISH young lady make it her own and bring to a new generation. Screaming J Hawkins is smiling 😃. I got chill bumps before end of 1st verse and then intensifies as the song went on. and tears flowed when I saw dad and sis wipe their tears BEFORE she started singing
