The French Air Forces competition aerobatic team, Equipe de Voltige, making its Duxford Airshow debut during the Duxford Air Festival 2018, with a solo display by 2015 world aerobatic champion pilot,Capitaine Alexandre Orlowski flying in an Extra 330SC. The team, which consists of six military pilots including Capitaine Orlowski, who became the third Equipe de Volitige pilot th be crowned world aerobatic champion whilst serving with the team, are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. The team have also won the world aerobatics team championship three times. This display is normally done with a pair of aircraft, but this was not possible for this occasion.
