During the excavation of London's Roman Amphitheatre a variety of Roman pottery was found ranging from comparatively plain, locally produced kitchenware to beautifully decorated, imported, fine tableware. In our second episode Andrew tells us about a specific type of Roman pottery found at the amphitheatre, Samian ware.
