Amazing! | Ayreon | The Sixth Extinction | Kathy And Donna Reaction 

The Aryeon project isn't a set band, they use a mixture of different artists. While some are in multiple performances, some are new. The tall skinny guy in the red trench coat is Arjen Lucassen, the guy who writes and composes all the Aryeon music. This was a closing song from their most recent live performances, which is why there were so many people out on stage at the end, as the performers from all the songs through the concert come out for a chorus line to close out the show.

So, so glad I could be at that concert... all the performers were from such a high standard an the audiance, damn what a vibe it was. One of the best I've ever been to!! 😊😊🙂

Ayreon is the project of master progrock composer Arjen Anthony Lucassen. The tall guy in red. He has no band. He is a master composer without a band but with a splendid vision of quality regarding singers and musicians. And he is apparently a blast to work with. A pure gentle genius. He composes fantastic music for decades now. His productivity is mindboggling. Only today he announces a new project with Simone Simons from Epica. He writes the world top singers to sing in his projects, and fantastic musicians. And they are having a blast too performing in his projects and with each other. There was no other band in this concert. It is all them. I was there in the audience together with 60 nationalities from the world over to witness 25 main singers and this epic musicians. The best concert I have ever been. Sold out in five minutes. So he planned another one.....sold out in minutes... A whole weekend. I can only advice you to witness one of his rare concerts when they occur. You will remember it as a treasure in your heart for the rest of your life.

This was the last song of the concert and usually all the performers come on stage at the end of the song. Ayreon is the one musical project that doesn't tour. You have to go to see them. I believe there where people from over 60 different countries at that concert.

Part IV - "To The Planet Of Red" is an instrumental interlude that allows for reflection and contemplation without explicit lyrical content. Part V - "Spirit On The Wind" focuses on the last survivor, who is searching for answers and grappling with the mystery of life. Despite knowing he won't survive, he relives the past and dreams of the future. The sleeper mentioned refers to his impending death, and his spirit will be released into the wind. In Part VI - "Complete The Circle," the lyrics call for unity and survival. The migrator soul represents the essence of humanity and the need to come together to rebuild and restore our lives. The song emphasizes the cyclical nature of life and urges listeners to learn from the mistakes of the past and envision a better future. The lyrics showcase the resilience and determination of humanity to overcome challenges and ensure its survival. Overall, this song delivers a powerful message about the potential consequences of ignorance, destruction, and the importance of learning from our mistakes to ensure the survival and prosperity of humanity.

The tall guy in red is Arjen Lucassen is the genius behind all of this. These shows are events that only happen every couple of years over a weekend or week in Europe, it varies. If you get to see it , you are blessed

I got an email the other day saying my blu-ray of this concert was in the mail. 🤩

Arjen's main projects are Ayreon (10 concept albums so far) and Star One (3 albums with songs inspired by science fiction movies). He often works with the same singers and musicians but there's not that one fixed line up. He worked with Floor Jansen right when she started her carrer in After Forever, that was 24 years ago. He also founded the band Stream Of Passion in 2005 (with Marcela Bovio who is one of the background singers in this video) and appeared on their first album, the band released 3 more albums and a reunion EP last year. My favorite project is The Gentle Storm from 2015 with the album The Diary, a collaboration with Anneke van Giersbergen who wrote the lyrics (and who first appeared on an Ayreon album in 1998). If you watch the video to the song Heart Of Amsterdam you will see familar faces from the Ayreon shows. A recent project was Supersonic Revolution with the album The Golden Age Of Music, the songs are about the music and artists of the 70s, the music is inspired by that era. Upcoming is an album with old songs he now finished together with Robert Soeterboek, also a regular on his other projects, under the band name Plan Nine. And as mentioned he worked with Simone Simons on her upcoming solo album. Arjen is a very busy man.

There are some members that almost return to most Arjen's musicals/Projects and a couple who are always there like Joost the keyboard player.

You ladies need to play Boston foreplay/longtime but all of there songs are fantastic but its the best place to start.
