Hi. Was that potting mix or manure that you were adding after the soil & sand mix? Is perlite okay to use too? It looks like you have it in a part sun location and that is what I have with only 2-3 hours of direct midday sun and dappled sun in the morning and late afternoon.
I planted JUST 3 Plumbagos in same size pot as u (mine are half the size of each of yours) And everyone has told me they need to be planted/ spaced further apart. Basically I need to repot them separately... I want a full display like u have. Not One or 2 stems in a huge pot. Have u done this before? Any advice?
็Hello You can do this as long as you keep adding nutrients to the soil. You just have to change the soil faster. May be once a year or add fertilizer more often than usual. For me, this method of planting was not a problem.
Hi! I just this plant and put it in a place where the sun is and water it everyday but I’m not sure if that’s healthy for the plant because I can see some leaves/flowers that are brown or dead or burnt? Not sure how to describe it im new to planting :( what can you recommend that I do? 😢
Hi what kind of fertilizer do you use for plumbago? Mine is flowering but doesnt look healthy. My plant old leaves wont fall on its own and i need to pick it each one of them, is it normal? I see other people plumbago all green and healthy unlike mine. Hope you can help. Thank you ❤
Hello Tayylor I use only osmocote fertilizer every 3 months Your plumbago doesnt look healthy may be caused by a plumbago's dead and broken branches. Prune in late winter or spring while the plant remains dormant. Remove all of a plumbago's dead and broken branches, Remove one-third of the plumbago's oldest branches. Make each cut 1/4 inch above the cut branch's base. Thinning the plant in this manner makes room for new, healthy growth.
